Stunning views from the Ruins of Strecno Castle (Strecniansky Hrad). Slovakia Travel destination. 

The castle was built at a height of 103m. Here you can see a magnificent view of the flow of the Bar River. The castle arose at the end of the 13th and beginning of the 14th centuries. In the 17th century, the troops of Leopold I stormed the castle and destroyed the walls. Restoration of the castle began between 1978 and 1993. In 1995, the castle was opened to tourists.
