Actually only two of us in this video listen to 100 gecs (as far as I know, maybe that’s changed since we took this video before quarantine, I hope so.) But we love playing together and everyone listened to Stupid Horse and thought we could do it justice!
I took a video of this band on the side of the road in downtown olympia with a big group of people watching. It gave off that vibe in the best way possible
You can tell the girl wanted to do the lil screaming part haha so wholesome and brought a really big smile to my stupid face to see this song turned acoustic 😊
i so badly wanna learn the banjo and have for a while and hearing these people play stupid horse makes me smile so much. really considering trying to get my hands on one when i get a job
Did you get one? If you’ve never played a stringed instrument before I’d start with something other than the banjo. The guitar is the “go to” for learning the fundamentals ... however I would recommend the ukulele if banjo is what your aiming for. The banjo and ukulele have similar tunings so the chords are the same. But the uke has a much softer and forgiving sound for a a fumble-y beginner.
@@atticuspappin2504 ive actually played the ukulele before, and i have a bit of experience with other strings, but i havent been able to get a banjo yet! i feel a lot more comfy now knowing that banjos and ukes have similar chords, thank you for telling me!
I'm so sad I haven't found your music until recently. Originally just stumbled across just this cover but your music is amazing . I hope you guys can get far.
