Stupid Loud straight pipes GPI SS4 Cammed Camaro SS is back! Cold start,idle clips,7k rev up and POV 

Same here, American V8's are a different breed! No euro or JDM even comes close.

Just do it​. I bought a 2013 1LE manual in 2020. Actually January1st 2020. Have driven it all over this beautiful country while getting up to 28mpg on the interstates. Its been an amazing car so far@great4ever845

For what I heard it does wonders when combined with a centrifugal setup 😁 But definitely not good with a regular turbo or supercharger setup

That’s awesome! And yes it’s a pretty solid cam! Can’t complain. I used to have a 92s race start drag pack before, I wish I never sold them. Although I’m super happy with the Zl1 wheels I think these are the best stock wheels I could get for my car.

@@Kenny_2ss been looking at the Niche Gt5 wheels. Has some of the largest offset for a dished look in the rear. There’s a pic on google of a white ss. Check them out and let me know what you think of them.

Do it and don’t look back! I have Vararam intake, 17/8 headers, xpipe,straight pipes, street tuning only. Took it to the Dyno just for numbers reference and it did 482/441. Keep in mind this street tune is very conservative. I’ve seen people hitting from 480-500 with this cam al day long. Great power band, I love it!

I’m saving money to buy few other things to make it a little more powerful. That hopefully will be happening at the end of this year or beginning of the next one if we all still alive.

I’m going to be installing mufflers on mine soon with cutouts. I’ve the way my car sounds but honestly it’s too loud sometimes depending the situation.

@@tune1398 she got hips, that's for sure. Gen5 with some of the gen6 body mods is my favorite combination. If the gen5 was on the gm alpha platform (Cadillac cts, etc) I would probably have bought one instead of an gen6.

@@ryanwharton2531 oh sorry I should’ve been more specific, I have none, no cats , no resonators and no mufflers just a straight pipe style. Also believe it or not the exhaust tips pay a big part of the noise as well. ✌️😁

@@ryanwharton2531 this one was custom made. Depending on the muffler shop you can get it for low price but you can also buy a muffler delete online.

I’m actually still using my factory lifters, I never removed the heads, I took this chance to save some money just because when I did the cam the car was very low miles, but honestly I wish I would have done everything at once. And now I want to get them done along with heads and rocker arms. I’ll be putting the Chevrolet performance lifters and Rockers with CHE Trunnion kit bushing upgrade hopefully soon.

@@Ws6Ms I will advise you just to change them if you doing the cam. Even if you don’t want to do any head work just get them for insurance. Not sure how many miles are on your car but mine had 45k only and didn’t change them and they are good so far but it doesn’t mean that this will be everybody’s situation. So just to be in the safe side just change them.

@@Kenny_2ss yeah your probably right... my ls3 currently has 64k... but lifters are always good insurance... if ima change lifters I'll go with the ss4 cam.... your camaro definitely inspires me

It makes 482whp and 441wtq this is with street tune only. Never been Dyno tuned so I’m sure I could squeeze a little more on a Dyno day

How much horsepower you putting down? Sounds well over 500hp

@@ikebiggons119 well I’ll be completely honest, it showed 481whp and 441wtq. This car is street tuned only, it has never seen a Dyno for tuning. And I can say with much confidence that in racing I have beat cars with 500+whp including other Camaros with even more mods than mine. So some people say that maybe the car either has a spot on tune which I strongly believe it has or the Dyno I took it was reading lower than normal and the car is actually around the 500 mark but this is all speculations because I never took it back to another Dyno to confirm. What I can tell you is that the car with stock heads, stock intake manifold, stock diff and even with 20” wheels trapped 118 on the 1/4 The 60ft was horrible since I couldn’t get traction but if I was go get a good 60ft this car should be a good mid to low 11s I think. Best pass I ran was 12.1 @118mph and 2.0 60ft

Gotcha I’m trying ready drop rebuilt engine I my 2010 ss and was debating f35 and the ss4.

@@jacobyj6257 sorry for the late response, f35 is another amazing cam, But apparently SS4 has been dominating the game as far as gains and power/tq curve goes. Not sure what’s the reality on that since I’ve only have SS4, I’ve heard of people going from btr and f35 cam to SS4 and seeing good results
