You never know what you'll come across along the banks of Boulder Creek Town Run on a weekend during high flows. This afternoon was no exception, a few people were drinking near the University of Colorado and wanted to give a high five. One guy wanted a ride on my boat and he was clearly drunk. He not only missed my boat but took a short swim and lost his shorts. Although I was concerned for his safety, he had enough awareness to swim and find the shore.
