the last clip is soooo relatable. there has been way too many times for me where my idiot team thinks im being stupid without realising, that they themselves have only 20 hours on record.
what he’s doing is that he is taking an image of each rank and then key framing that on top of the dude’s head and then just changing the images. there is also a key framed draw mask where the ranks go behind the corner of the building.
you can either use key framing to place an image at a specific part of the frame and do so for all the frames, or use After Effects and I think it's a bit more automated.

Bailey W Oh, so this is actually a bug when replaying the demo. I have my F9 key bound to "toggle cl_draw_only_deathnotices 0 1". First you play the demo like normally, then you hit F9 twice so that it causes this bug where the spectator hud disappears but it keeps the box radar. I don't actually have it like that in the game normally while I'm playing, I just like this setup when recording.
The refresh rate of the mouse is based on how many fps your computer is calculating. While this video is limited to 60 fps. If he flicked faster than 1/60th of a second it wouldn't show on the video, but would be calculated by the computer.
