2:20 i disagree with this take because i know a guy who is frequently reacted to by tectone and he has made little to nothing from tectones reaction content, primarily because his content is just their content by with his opinion over it. why go watch a video a second time after watching tectone talk about it? so no, tectone's reaction content gives little to no actual traction, and especially not more ad revenue.
Most of the time it's not that oh some big creator reacted to this video so it'll get more view. It's good for smaller creators because it puts them into the radar of the audience of the said big creator. Some might like the content and would want to watch without the constant pauses of the reacting party.
I did not even think of that and you’re absolutely right, some people earn back from this and some don’t, that is a very tragic truth that I completely overlooked.
maybe cut down on the bloat, people are way less willing to sit through a slow nothingburger video if its from a rando on the internet. Riding coattails is fine but it only carries you so far and gets you nothing if the only impression you made is a guy padding for time in a slow rant
The main purpose of making this video is for it to be seen, it was seen so my goal was reached. All my intentions were was to state what i thought and nothing more, and yes it was in one of the party's favors but i find that not to be an issue if its the correct party.
It's actual physically painful liquid cringe hearing this dude talk. I don't why he's overreacting so much, it almost seems like it's being done on purpose blatantly to be ironic I guess? Just painful to watch a dude react like this over nothing.
