thanks alot for ur amazing simple explanation,i have an exam tomorrow in ophthalmology & i really got the idea of the syndrome because of u..thanks again & god bless u ^^
Hi..I loved the video but there's a mild clarification. The Port wine stain is actually a Vascular malformation and it is NOT a hemangioma. Both aren't the same. A hemangioma is a tumorous growth of endothelial cells of blood vessels while a vascular malformations is simply an abnormal number of capillaries. While hemangiomas can involute over time, vascular malformations only worsen
Your videos are awesome, Tracy. Why did you stop putting up videos, it really helped us med students from all over the world. I discovered your channel two days back, and have been watching your videos. Your videos are very well made, crisp and your handwriting is phenomenal, helps in creating good visual memory. Why do good video creators stop making videos? It makes me feel sad. The content is really great. Please start putting more videos. Love, from India.
Thank you so much for the compliments, Abhipsa! It seriously warms my heart every time I receive something like this. I had to stop making videos when I started residency bc I just didn't have the time. I just finished residency (finally, after 5 years!), and will be getting back into content creation again. What would you be most interested in hearing about?
@@TracyTownsendMD that's really nice. Congratulations on completing your residency. Continue making videos on such syndromes, and topics of Medicine that are difficult to learn if you can, and if you find time. Your videos are high yielding and easy to learn, you shouldn't let your talent pass away. I have watched so many lectures, of so many you tubers, either they are too long or they give wrong informations. I know your work is hectic, but if you do get time, do let us get amazed by your work once again. 😊
I use a Wacom tablet and pen for the hardware, then I do the drawing in a free app from the Apple store called Sketchbook Express. I do the recording and editing with Camtasia.
Satish gadhe thank you for the feedback! I just wanted to point out that the correct spelling is “pathognomonic”, and the usual American pronunciation is without a hard “g” sound.
