The opening day that almost didn't happen. Poor ice conditions kept most off the lake. But yet many had a successful opening day! Huge crowd gathered at Wendt's to watch as the pole filled up!

I don't get it. None of these people should complain about the muskies and walleyes speared through the ice or open water by the natives. Aren't these 50+ year old fish?
