Great vlog Amy! Our downstairs gets chilly when the AC is on and I need to grab a sweater! Our neighbors flight out of Florida was cancelled last week. They finally make it home to Silicon Valley over the weekend. Loved the dresses! Went over the mountains and headed to the coast to visit my sister-in-law’s mom. It was just a little chilly, sweater weather. Blue sky’s. We had lunch out, then went to the Santa Cruz lighthouse, walked to see all the dogs playing on the dog beach. They were all so fun to watch playing. There were some surfers, but not much of a wave day. The otters were hanging out in the kelp beds next to the surfers. When I am in Florida, Bealls is my fav. There are two different ones as there is a discount/clearance Bealls as well. I enjoy both. Happy shopping!

I live in Phoenix, today it’s going to be 113 degrees. I wear dresses everyday. Simple ones for everyday and lounging, nicer ones to go out. I know it’s hot and humid in Florida too. I have to be comfy.

Wow! Our Bealls doesn't have the selection of dresses that yours does! I did find some similar to yours at Walmart. I LOVE them! I prefer solid colors and definitely cotton for staying cool. They are on clearance for $6 at my Walmart. Were $9.98 which is a good price too 😊. Those dresses were very pretty on you! Tfs! Blessings!

The new side by side never makes enough ice and I had a fridge like yours and it made more ice but I had to send it back during pandemic because no tech could come out and they was several recalls on my fridge. I went back to side by side n we run out of ice after four glasses is fixed so I have a ice maker on counter top.

Be happy that you and your family are not living in the state of Arizona the temperature is 117 degrees and there are days that the temperature will go over 120 degrees and higher. I have to put up my hair into a bun all the time. Yesterday my husband and kids cooked a raw egg outside on the sidewalk and the raw egg cooked loose then 5 minutes.

I love wearing long flowing skirts in the summer (with a pair of thin biker Shorts underneath for comfort) and have a hard time finding them in current fashion. I shop our local thrift stores and have great luck finding them there, I save some money and if it’s Goodwill I know I’m supporting a good charity. I haven’t tried Ross, wonder if I’d have good luck there? Love your videos Amy and thank you for sharing.

I'm cringing at the frozen cooked shrimp. You live near the Gulf. Go buy some fresh shrimp. You should be able to ask around and see where the shrimpers come in and they usually have stores that sell their catch fresh off the boat at a good price. Otherwise your local stores should have a fresh seafood section and just watch the sales, usually they have them on sale for $5-6 lb here in Texas. Loved the blue dress.

Good morning Amy, if you should happen to think of me today would you pray for my son. He is having shoulder surgery this morning. He is not so nervous about the surgery itself but the recovery. He can not shower for 48 hours after the surgery and we are experiencing 90+ degree heat. We don't have AC. 🥵 My favorite dress is the blue/white floral, so pretty on you. All the dresses looked good on you. So did the blouses. I think the 70s are making a comeback because the dresses looked a bit like the 70s. I loved it. I am almost 52(July 17), and even in the 80s and 90s, I would dress the 70s. I do a little bit now, although I mostly dress comfortable.

Di something nice for you. No cameras, no shopping. Its ok to take care of you. I use to take two hours a week and just get out and like go to the park and journal, reading my bible, take in a dollar movie and popcorn. Hot bath, music and candles. Cascade take me away. A coffee and just be with God. Turn off the phone. I call on God to direct me and even just walk the mall and window shop. If we don't take care of ourselves we can't help others
