I will say that Beyoncé’s introduction as a solo artists just blew her peers outta the water. Its was ultra femme, sexy, confident and had a universal appeal.
Beyoncé is really the epitome of femininity she carries herself with such class. Her wardrobe in the 2000s accentuated her frame so well 💗 The KP MEMORIES omg 😩😩😩 I remember getting on the dollar van at empire and them pulling off before you even got a chance to sit down lmao they used to be speeeding but I refused to get on that damn B46 😂😂
“Empire, Empire, Empire” girl that B46 took entirely too long to get you to KP. I fell so many times getting in the dollar van 😂 especially getting on at Church that’s when they would start driving crazy lol
I always tell people her skin is flawless in person like she has beautiful skin. I love this era of Bey so much! not only fashion wise (because my girl always came with the looks) but because she did interviews and there was no social media so even if people were pressed and upset they had no choice but to keep it to themselves or people around them, but in today's times people are so filled with their own insecurities and hate that they get online and pour it out online because they live in misery and have failed at everything. I respect how Bey has put up her boundaries and shows what she wants to show. lovely video as always 💞
Beyoncé has such amazing posture. I love how she sits and presents herself so elegantly. Thankyou for including all of the brands that she wore I know that takes time and I appreciate it because I’ve been wondering about some of the brands she wore for her music videos. I love every single Roberto Cavalli look that you included in this video lol he is such a talented designer and his clothing is so feminine 😩😩 I love it. Beyoncé looks good in everything
So grateful to have experienced this Beyoncé in real time. I used to be stuck on nostalgia and for the past few years I had to move on and accept that time is gone. This video reminded me of why it was such a vivid time in our lives. This air still had a spark and liveliness to it, a natural charm and charisma mixed with homey feelings as well. It was a time to be alive. The excitement of this time was unmatched.
I believe that the reason why she wears her clothes so well and confidently is because she doesn't dress to impress, and she goes after comfort instead of attention
Yes she does, but funny enough, she was actually the inspiration of Aisha fashion in the winx. I can see why, but honestly Beyonce style also fit Flora's. Especially the Déjà-vu mv. It basically scream Flora.
Her hair also changed the game for black hair. She and Tyra banks were the bar. Chuckle Amos and Kim Kimble are responsible for some of the most iconic looks of the 00s and I don’t then honk they ever have gotten their real credit for how they pushed black hair out it if that 90s look if fish scales styles and short cuts. Now the looks he did are common some are considered not so realistic. But for the time people had no idea how to replicate it. Girls were wearing horrible sew ins with the cheapest fried human hair trying to get the look. If you had long hair you were “trying to be beyounce or something” Now she gets her wigs are at the next level. Made by some of the top wig makers the industry. Sewnatural and thatwigguy and thejoyofwigmaking have made some of her looks she’s rocking right now in her renaissance era. Tyra’s hair really shook the later 00s Same stylist along with Oscar James. This woman pushed the hair industry forward .
Thank you so much for this. I knew Kim Kimble did her hair for years but I wasn’t aware of the others you mentioned and how they shaped the black hair and styles, as well as hair trends that we see the girls wearing today 🩷
We old fans know , exactly the same reason i fell in love with her style and music during 2006 and throughout my years studying fashion. She was the ultimate muse 💜 there was always something effortless sexy and feminine in everything she does i really miss her red carpet game. And shes like a different person these days. Its like she's lost all the qualities that made us love her.
The mini dress definitely belonged to Beyonce lol her doing that back bend in HIGH HEELS in Get Me Bodied would never not be iconic!! She is really in a lane of her own | She is wearingggggg that red dress on SNL. I love any and every mini dress she wore and I agree her makeup has always been something that I loved because it's so natural looking
Thank you thankyou thankyouu for including the brands I have so many of Beyonce's fashion in the 2000s saved on my Pinterest. she is absolutely gorgeous. Beyonce loved her a good tan back then it made her skin pop. Also the acapella of her singing Crazy in Love 😍 she really is one of the top vocalists out there
U forgot to talk about the diamond chain top she wore on her dangerously in love album cover. It was said that the jeans she wore were tbe photographers jeans and she didn’t really wanna wear the top
I spoke about her Crazy In Love top in a few videos, but yes she wore the photographers jeans and her top was re-worked from a pair of Cher’s pants that she wore on a Vanity Cover in the 70s 🩷✨
People love to slight Tina Knowles & the House of Dereon era but her eye 👁️ was insane she & Ty sourced the world for custom designer on trend but still classic looks the hyperfemininity is #Texas made southern roots.
2000s Bey 😍😍😍 Man I miss the 2000s so much! Her looks were so cute and fabulous throughout the 2000s. Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, Baby Boy, Upgrade U, Kitty Kat, Check on It, Beautiful Liar are so aesthetically pleasing to me. The silver outfit she wore for the 2006 BET awards Deja Vu performance, GIRLLL😍🤍
The eras where she showed radiant beauty was between 2007 - 2009! But, I like this more daring era where she allows herself to show all the genuine sensuality she possesses and that after her pregnancies, she only enhanced it!
Yesssss i've been waiting for this. First off love how you love Beyonce and how much of a true fan you are because you're playing the instrumentals to her unreleased songs!! like my man and keep giving your love to me I know a stan when I see one okay lol Bday was one of my favorite Bey eras because she really fully stepped into her artistry without restrictions, I love how she has a hand in everything she does down to her edits and clothing. 2000s Bey is untouchable and still is
One thing that baffles me about Beyoncé is her innate ability to fully embody sensuality and grace no matter the occasion(quite Venusian in my opinion). But I reckon why she is not known for setting fashion trends or being known for her fashion as compare to her peers( RiRi) , is mainly due to the age we’re in , the emphasis on being weird , edgy , different and eccentric. Love her 2000s style nevertheless. Especially solo debuted Beyoncé (2003-2010) was INSANELY breathtaking , exceptionally gorgeous it was insane to find someone epitomize the full package to function as a human being/ entertainer 🤩, few STARS encapsulate this level of ITness.
I lovedddddd this era for Bey. On a side note, I enjoy how you enmesh forgotten classic instrumentals for each artist you cover as background music. Got me ready to refresh my playlist ..
i looove the content thank you ! and also all the old footage shows that the body was there back then , the ass the hips and the light skin , she had style still got it , so all these hate comments she is getting these days about all of this are so unecessary & wrong ! Thank you
Hello fellow New Yorker! I miss going to KP so much especially when they had the movie theater on the second floor. I had my first blind date there 😂. Yes! Beyoncé was and still is that girl. Just style, grace, mystic, she really is the entire package, but her 00’s style was seriously unmatched. ❤
I love being glam I’m still hyper feminine vs my sister is more Tom boy and my moms eclectic. I’ve just always been a full beat and always in heels since high school
Girl we are the same!! lol I have always been super girly, my friends thought I was crazy wearing high heels in high school. Glad I wasn’t the only one lol 🩷
@@iconicallyiconic yaasss I’m never gna change 🥺💕 i& I am always the one who ends up overdressed, but I don’t care, and when my friend say, just lunch, nothing fancy, my definition of nothing fancy is actually something amazing and glam 🤣😂😂
LOVE your channel 😍 but can you please do a style breakdown on the Iconic Wilhelmina Slater from Ugly Betty played by Vanessa L Williams?!! Her character was criminally underrated.
I think you pointed out clearly why we loved Beyoncé back then she was evocating sensuality without being vulgar. Which is why certain recent looks haven’t been welcomed lately : she’s trying to hard to be like the other girls who aren’t as classy and wear transparent dresses everywhere.. just a shame
I feel like it’s really funny that being “classy and respectful” is only ever applied to Women and Never men? (Obviously not with their wardrobe cause they all look like same)
@@dakotatoney I fully expect men around me to behave a certain way that is respectful of themselves and others. Vulgarity is just something I dislike in men and women.
This video enlightened me because I'm an og Beyonce fan but I never thought she had style growing up. When she was wit Destiny's Child it was revealed that her mom made most of the outfits....talent ❤. I didnt understand back then that you can wear the same outfit for the video and live performances. I was in awe of her voice I didnt care what she wore lol
Omg yess part 2!! If u can, can you touch on her evolution into motherhood and how it shaped her style, she always was able to dress down while still givin glam but i think her mom style is iconic too❤
I just have to say I love this channel so much! 💗💗💗 I love how much time and effort you put into it your videos like adding in designers which I know can take up time as the other comment said. That dress she wore in the opening of naughty girl will always be one of my favorite dresses I really wish designers would go back to being creative 😩 and not trying to just trend that's when fashion was good and the quality was there and there wasn't a new trend every other month and no overconsumption
I was born in 97, so all my bratz and my scene dolls were definitely taking inspo from B as well as a lot of the other women featured on this channel. I grew up wanting to dress like this SO BAD and now am incorporating hyperfeminine and sparkly looks into my wardrobe at 27. I couldn’t as a teen cause the style changed but now idgaf lol
When you started to mention going to Kings Plaza, “downtown”, and queens center call for your clothes, I instantly subscribed as a brooklyn girl 😂 ❤your content!
I just discovered your chanel and i looooove it! Thank you gods of algorithm!!! Would you please do a video on Diahann Carroll? Especially her Dynasty looks. I would enjoy that immensely! ❤❤❤❤ xX
