A little about Fashion and Style Edit
I've worked in fashion for many years, and I love having a good chit chat, so it felt natural to join the two passions together:) And with so many outfit ideas and style tips swirling around my head I needed an outlet to share all that information! How to style outfits in a new way that you might not have thought of, or sharing how you can truly interpret the fashion trends in a really wearable way. I guess I have quite a classic style but with an up to date twist. I love neutral outfits, elegant, timeless pieces and sharing how you can really get the most out of your own wardrobe. Essentially, I just love helping people and fashion is what I know, inside out and with my eyes closed! So if you finish one of my videos feeling a little bit inspired with a few outfit ideas you know will make you feel great, well then that makes me very happy indeed:) Thanks so much for being here.

I'm SO excited to launch today's video, I couldn't wait to show you all! So as the title would suggest today I am launching a new series for my channel, Style Diaries. A chance for me to interview people I hugely admire in the fashion industry and delve into their love of fashion over the years. It's been a long time coming, so I'm filled full of nervous excitement to finally get it out there! But Alyson was the perfect guest to begin and I absolutely loved hearing all the stories about fashion:) A huge thank you to Alyson for being my first guest and a HUGE thank you to you for watching! More than anything I hope you really enjoy the chit chat and find it inspiring for fine tuning your own personal style:) I'm really looking forward to hearing from you all in the comments, big hugs, Jess:)

This was incredible, Jess. Love this interview format. Looking forward to seeing more. I wish I could have seen the shoes Alyson was wearing. In my younger years I would go for heels, but now at 67, I prefer flats. Haven't considered buying vintage, but now I am curious to see what is out there! Thanks Jess.

@@FashionStyleEdit I am a child of the 1980’s (born in 1971). I was about 8 years old and was gifted a Gloria Vanderbilt turquoise cable knit sweater with a match corduroy skirt. My Mom purchased me matching shoes and a matching purse. I wore that outfit to death. I loved how it made me feel and I always received kind compliments. Thank you 😊 for asking and allowing me to relive that memory . Cheers 😉🌷

Thank you:) No fillers or botox in my cheeks, though I did have that microneedling exosome facial and I've been using the led light therapy mask and I think the combo has definitely made a difference! Or maybe I've just put on weight? Either way very happy to have a bit of a glow for once:)

Well firstly I'm sorry I simply forgot, it's really not that deep. But secondly, this is a podcast video and Alyson and I both describe her shoes in full. I will ask if Alyson can pop a picture on her own insta stories to share with everyone:)
