i prefer Japanese style... work with what you got,keep it cheap and reliable add stuff if and when.

I'm all about Style, Had my e36 sedan like that also, With A/C. depending on the rims I'm rocking. I could have -6 camber in the front or -4. The Rear would be -2.8 with ground control extended tierods/bushings/end links/camber plates and turner swaybars. Loved it, I was able to kick it out with no problem. I had no worry about getting stuck or anything, Winter was so much fun, I did more plowing than the snowplows here.

Missile because i wanna drift non stop and get better then i would build a nice Clean car but still engwise stock and After some Progress Pro car

I miss the days when drifting was about style and technique. Now it's a horsepower/smoke war and the cars handle like you said "ice skating"

I drift my e36 in 3rd up here in Colorado, same diff as those guys, they are great on tires but maybe 9-12 laps, its a great car to start with and build as you learn.

i have a not so cared for E36 in my yard that I want to get rid of but seeing more videos of how well the platform is makes me not wanna sell it and make it a project

Went as hard as possible in an e34 missile got as many laps/ seat time as i could. Now almost done building same chassis but with more power more angle and plan to keep it nice as possible (unlike the missile) cant wait to drive with all the bmws out there in lonestar. Gonna be fun!

Cool to see these USDM e36s. Werid seeing the steering wheel on the "wrong" side compared to our UKDM 36s Most of the 36 practice cars here run as low or lower than the "style" car. Seems to be a trend here. Best thing about drifting for me All these cars can be at an event at the same time. And that's totally normal and OK. Hi from North East England. My 2004 mustang is a drift missile but it has some exterior mods to look decent but nothing I'd be upset about being damaged plus I hate washing cars so a missile is good for that lol

I hit a deer last week in my e36 and only put few dents on the rear door and broke the corner light !! Its pretty crazy.

Just picked up an e36 for $600. Can’t wait for some seat time in it

I would say that this is not an m52 in the red one.. its more likely an m50 with technical upgrade aka vanos.. probably the best one of m5x series. Oil cap and intake manifold makes it to recognize between them two, m50 has an oil cap closer to firewall while m52 has it closer to vanos unit.

Guys in Japan run preety much stock engines with bolt ons (300-400hp) and cool body kits, so a 200hp bmw with some cheap steering mods lowered on some cool wheels is a great way to start. I have an m20 e34 that is waiting for an engine swap (m50b25) and that is only because the car has a clean body and 130hp on a 1.5 ton car is simply not fun enough for me (you can drift, but it's not realy exciting), but i could pull something off with an m50 with simple engine mods. but i don't drive on the events because I'm not interested in competitions and stuff (and there are no other events where i live) so for a touge car it's fun, it's cheap, it's easy and you don't need to go over the top if you only want to have fun. Don't over think it, just do it

Stock diff is 2.93 and won't drift on 3th but with those 3.91 they can anyway good video and good info for the new people in that

Idk about you guys but I daily my drift car and it’s budget built 😂 94’ with m50 second owner as well 🤙 all stock besides angle kit, lw flywheel, short shifter, some wheels, coilovers, bucket seat and some ac cause fuck this Cali weather 😂

How do you guys drive to get like a weekend on 10 tires on a 600 wheel car? I just ran my 350 crank e46 for 3 days and used 28 tires, and could easily have used more.
