One addition that I made to my wardrobe this past summer was that I got some white sneakers. There was a time when I thought I would not look good with these kind of shoes, but then I realized I had the right kind of blue jeans and solid colored T-shirts that would compliment the shoes. To anyone who is on the fence on updating a wardrobe, I will say that there's no harm in trying out a new style. You will probably have more to gain than to lose, and there are ways you can wisely budget on new clothing and accessories without going overboard on spending!

American Apparel t-shirts have regular and heavyweight options that you can buy from wholesale providers online for as little as $5. They fit great too, they don't feel like a cheap Gildan or something like that. Definitely recommended grabbing a half dozen of basic colour's like white, Grey, navy, black or olive.

You got it right with the Thursday Boot Company. Their Jackets are fantastic too. Even for an older man. Solid color schemes in earth tones (including red) work great for me, and my jeans. Yes, I have some retro leather, and suede jackets. Down filled vests, and wool coats. I’m not a hat wearing person, but I have some nice dress hat caps. I really don’t wear baseball caps. I smooth out my style with my favorite scents from Parfume De Marly… Sedley, Layton, Carlisle, Herod, Layton Exclusif, Persius, are in my collection. Along with Tom Ford Ombré Leather, and Victor Rolf Spice Bomb as curve balls. My sneakers are Thursday Boot Company with a selection of Joseph Aboud, and Lightweight fabric Dockers that go well with 9 inch shorts or jeans. Most of my sweaters are 100% cotton with texture. I keep my weight down so I can wear Henlys in long, or short sleeve. Small selection of polos in solid colors , but textured fabric. Fitted T-Shirts from Un-Tuckit, and Classic Tees. I rarely wear statement shirts, but I have a selection for occasions like sports, or specific events. Minimalist clothing styles works best for the 40+ male crowd. You can add conversation items like a nice knit scarf for a pop of color into the winter. Things like that. A wool “Andy Cap” with some leather trim for a casual but sophisticated look. An eye development from a simplistic perspective can be achieved with taste over time.

I used to wear logo t-shirts, and jeans when I was younger. About 8 years ago I switched to Wrangler 47 jeans, western pearl snap shirts, Justin boots. I don’t really wear t-shirts anymore. Along with a nice sterling belt buckle on a gun belt (thicker better quality leather). As well as Leatherman multitool. When I switched I received compliments, but now I guess people are used to it now. Great food for thought in the video, thanks.

Uniqlo fits perfect for me, and actually decently priced

I never really had very good T-Shirts until a recent shopping trip where I set about trying them in every store I could find, that sold them. The best one I found was in Zara. It fits so well and is a little bit heavier/stiffer than other types, so it holds it's shape nicely. I've never looked and felt so good in a T-shirt before! And they're not even that expensive.

For shoes, clothing, overall wardrobe the "buy nice or buy twice" rule is a game changer

I had an idea that might be great for your channel-what do you think about creating videos of a separate series focused on different dedicated clothing styles? For example, you could create separate videos on casual everyday styles, business casual, and more, while keeping them as much as possible unaffiliated with specific high priced companies that might alienate your more price-sensitive audience.Budget-friendly options are always appreciated. Not everyone wants to spend $200+ on shoes, so keeping that in mind when offering suggestions would resonate with a lot of people! It would be especially helpful if you offered alternatives for different climates as well, since, for instance, summer in Athens, Greece, is very different from summer in Oslo, Norway. A lot of your audience seems to be men aged 35-40 and above, so tailoring these styles to that group would be a hit. Thanks for the great content-looking forward to seeing more!

I now think of it as style vs. fashion. Fashion is what is trendy and something you can try out, but style is what really reflects who you are on the inside. You can always try what's in fashion, see if it works but you should always have your main "uniform" or personal style pieces to fall back on and add to. I love the tips, I think they are universal, I may even start wearing a watch if I find the right one ;)

I like Thursday Boots. I have the Thursday white leather sneakers but they fit a bit snug. Wished Thursday made their boots& sneakers in a wide size. Recently bought some white leather Dillon Xero shoes, Those are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I thank you for your style guides, I enjoy watching all of those.

White Air Force 1's have been my standard go to for a lot of casual outfits. The low leather sneaker profile works so well with a variety of outfits for pretty much all seasons of the year. Just keep them clean and free of scuffs, dirt, and grime. For more dressy things like jeans and a dress shirt I usually go with leather boots. I don't wear dress shoes unless its for something like a suit. Edit: Funny enough, the boots that I use are from the Thursday Co. and are basically the same look. Great quality boots and the packaging is really well put together for shipping. You actually feel like you're getting a quality product. I ordered some outfits from Ralph Lauren (Basically Designer) and they just came in a regular plastic bag for shipping. The Thursday Co definitely makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth.

For a nice basic heavier weight tee, I like 3Sixteen. It's pricier but the look is worth it.

I love brand Standard Issue Tees. Great t shirts and thermals.

I have nearly a dozen shoes and boots from Thursday. I will say it's a challenge to get the right size. You can't use the same size for sneakers as you would for boots. Also, I bought black and white pairs of low cut leather sneakers IN THE SAME SIZE. The black fit well and the white tears up my feet with blisters.

ASKET has a regular shirt and lightweight shirt and they are perfect. You can order both size *and* length. I'm 5'6" 170 with decent shoulders, so I've had to go up to Large t-shirts in general. With ASKET you can get a Large shirt with Short length and it fits perfectly. Definitely one of my top t-shirt recommendations.

Courtney those men dress codes are lethal in a good way. Ever since taking your advices I'm getting so much attention. Women at the mall or going with friends night out I get staring 👀 vibes. I felt little sad not in a bad way because I ain't looking forward to have a real relationship with anybody I also not trying to manipulate no one but the looks that I get from it is definitely legit. I don't style that much when I'm going out with friends but changing my dress code got me so much attention I'm surprised didn't know I had it in me. I think I'm sensing jealous vibe from my boys when we going out in a good. Not trying to sound cocky here just sticking to facts lol. My favorite brand by far is Asket. The pieces might not be "cheap" but the quality is there and they last for years and years if you take care of them. The neckline on their t-shirts seem to never wear out and "bacon".

I SWEAR by Cuts t-shirts. I try other brands and just keep coming back to them. A little pricy but worth it imo. They have sales fairly frequently as well which is when I tend to buy them.

True classic tees makes great t shirts. There’s a chance people in here have seen adds for them or something online, but they really are good, they’re the only t shirts I buy now. Haven’t tried any of their other stuff but I would be curious to see if their other stuff is good too

After wearing minimal shoes for years I don't think my feet will fit in a standard shoe anymore. I brought a xs jacket a little while ago and it was so big, I had to send it back, I'm sure sizes are growing I'm still the same size but my clothing sizes are getting smaller. 😔

If you are bit thicker or fluffier don't buy the Huckberry stuff. Its way to tight. If you are not fluffy it should fit fine
