I don't know about you but one of the things I'm looking forward to the MOST is getting my hair cut and colored! In the mean time, I'm trying to be patient and get creative with my styling😳😬 Today, I'm sharing my latest way to cope with my overgrown pixie. Thank you so much! My natural color is about a level 5 ash brown so to give me highlights, my stylist uses a high volume lightener (volume 30-40) to lift my color to about a level 10-11 ash blonde. I know that is a really high volume but if she doesn't do that, I end up with orange highlights and that's not a good look for me😂😘

Yes, it definitely does but usually it's a pretty long shelf life. However, it should not smell like that....I'd return it and request a new jar!

Ugh....yes, I've been battling this for about a year and a half. There are numerous companies that do this. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do because these are foreign companies. I was 3 days away from getting color/cut when the stay at home was ordered and my pixie was so grown out. My color is an inch from being completely being gone and the gray is not enough so my color looks horrid. Yesterday I broke down and trimmed over my ears my bangs and neckline. I now have a bob cut. Your hair is way shorter than mine in the back and I thought I had mine cut short. Without color on my roots my hair just lays flat and is too soft, I hate it. Thanks for your video

Thank you! My stylist just uses a high volume lightener (bleach) for my highlights. My natural color is super dark brown so I require volume 30-40 in order for the highlights not to look orange!😳😘

You look polished and beautiful as always.... My hair is in a bob so the extra length isn't bothering me too much, but O my, hair colour is a very different and very sad area. My natural colour is black now with grey through it and my hair is very blonde.... I've had to resort to box dyes.... Here in the UK they are talking of hair salons being closed for 6 months..... In which case I'm resorting to wigs xx

@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates On the scale of what's happening, hair could be considered trivial but and it's a big BUT, our hair is part of who we are, it helps with our confidence, with how we want the world to see us and when our hair looks good, we feel good..... If we feel good, we are nicer to be around for our partners, children etc; I'm not sure how I'll cope if we have to do 6 months without a salon visit...... Stay safe and stay well beautiful lady x

I always enjoy watching you, especially styling your hair! Mine is similar (at least it used to be before covid 19). It’s gotten pretty long now😩.....however, I have about half of the hair that you have, mine is fine and thin but I’ve found that products sure help! The tip from you that I learned today was using hands and fingers while styling rather than a brush. I’m definitely going to get my fingers in next time, thank you again for your tips!

I use the Enjoy Dry Wax. No, it is not sticky, crunchy or greasy but provides amazing hold! It's very different than any other pomade I've ever tried. Oh my, you can still style your hair just stunningly! 🥰 Mine by now looks completely!! different... my hair in the back (neck) has grown to curl up and so are the sides and fronts. Beautiful job! Your hair always looks fantastic!!! I finally let my granddaughter take the clippers to my hair....she guaranteed me that since she trims her dog she’d be able to do my hair so I said go for it....desperate times call for desperate measures so away she went buzzing😱......but PTL....she did a great job!! If you can’t get an immediate appointment, remember your local vocational school. I’m a cosmetology student and all my clinical hours have been put on hold. While you wait for your salon or barber shop to work you in, you can get great service under the watchful eyes of instructors, have access to high quality hair products, plus give future hair stylist’s some practice at a fraction of the salon price. This might buy you some time (and ease frustrations) until you finally get to see your regular stylist! Sharalee, you would look beautiful even if you shaved your head...just saying! 💕😉

Always love your hair, but I tried the catwalk root boost (I had to buy two cans together on Amazon) and it did absolutely nothing for my pixie cut! I mean it was flat. $33 and the seller won’t take it back! Anything else you can recommend?

subscribed tonight after looking at your bareminerals swatches posts from 2013 (from a google search). i am grateful at how you are thorough, very organized, very good at teaching, and calm, kind and good vibes. i love this hairstyle, so i had to look at the playlist of tutorials. i think yours looks almost as good unstyled, too, due to the highlights making it look like a style in and of itself. i had a longer pixie, curly, but i had to have it cut even more today. it is shorter than yours (all due to hair damage from doing ACV rinses!!). the cowlicks in my hair are the type, my stylist said, that scalp shows unless they are held in place with product. lol

You look great, not like you need to go to the salon at all, its not out of shape at all. My only problem with the whole operation is that there is an aweful lot of chemicles in there to make it look like that. I think you could get the same look with maybe one or two, mousse and wax. I like to wash and go. But you are obviously a very glamourous lady

Your styling ability is amazing! I LOVE the color! Going to check with my stylist to see if that color will work for me. I purposely went back to this video because I can do the pixie and I like the combo of smooth and spikey that's longer than what you are doing now. Plus haven't figured out why do the under cut - I'm just learning but ready for a change. You are one beautiful and that sure helps a LOT :). Love your tips though. Do you happen have a video with more natural products? I know they don't work quite as well, or haven't found many besides shampoo but I hate using so many chemicals all the time in dye, styling products, and makeup - thoughts?

Oh my goodness these hair tips were wonderful!!..And, I wanted to let you know that I tried your tips for applying the IT mascara and it went on soooo much better!!.. i cleaned up the top with a toothpick and when I applied it on my lashes, I was careful not to push to hard, but go lighter...Thanks for the great tips!!!..Hope you are doing well...love your Sunday songs 🎵...take care..❤❤

You're hair is absolutely beautiful, but to be honest, I have the same cut, except very fine thin hair, if I put this much product on my hair, it would look like I was dumped upside down in an oil drum. I have tried to use the hair wax, and it just looks dirty. Wish I knew what to do

The Catwalk Root Boost should help give you more volume. As for the wax, you would just need the tiniest amount....perhaps a lightweight pomade like "Frenzy" by Style Sexy Hair might work better for you.

My favorite styling product is the texture powder, especially right after I wash my hair to achieve some texture. I just shake a little in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together the run it through rather than shake it directly onto my hair. It gives me more control over where it goes.
