I just turned 60 this year. I never had the beautiful bone structure you have so I decided to let the plastic surgeon give Mother Nature a bit of a break on my drooping face. Last week I got a lower face lift, fat grafting and CO2 laser.. As I have been on the mend your videos have helped entertain and inform me. Not going down in granny style here!
I've watched a few of your videos & as a 33 year old woman I would love your tips on aging so gracefully without looking like you're trying too hard to stay young. You've achieved the perfect balance & look amazing! Teach me your ways wiser one!
Wow... Out of 40 videos I must have watched about styling a growing out pixie cut, this was the very first that worked for transforming my bland flat hair into a fabulous, wearable style. Thanks for the video!
Monique, this is an amazing cut. It even looks even wonderful from the back. Looks like you have a ton of hair. I need to get my hair cut shorter. I think it will make the life and the transition a lot easier. Thanks for sharing-Sue from Michigan
Oooh! Love the cut. The stylist you mentioned lives less than 3 miles from my daughters house. Next time I go to LA I know what I’m doing! I just need a good cut, a new look that’s edgy and not old-lady-ish. This is it! I’m always afraid that getting my hair cut will look too young for me but this, I can pull off. I’m tired of looking old because of my old lady hair. Thanks for all your fun videos.
I have the exact cut and hair type!!Thank you for showing us Reality instead of fake hair extensions !You are a refreshing beautiful example of being REAL!!!!!!!
That is just how my hair is now. I really like it & it makes my hair look thicker....and in the back the bottom is brown. I love yur haircolor....i quit my red as the gray hair came in so quick that the blond i now have blends in with my gray...LOVE YOUR VIDEOS....
Monique you are amazing!!! I love your cut. My stylist showed me that drying technique recently also. Thank you for all of your videos. I've learned a lot from you and am looking forward to more! 😊
I really love this hair cute but my oldest son has asked me to let it grow until he's back from over seas in the Army again. and yep the silvers are coming in and getting longer to.
hi Monique, after watching your videos, I have been letting the gray come in and embracing it! I started going gray at 16 with the cruella deville streak until I was 30, then started dying my hair. I am 54 now, and much like yours it is solid white at the front and sides. The root touch- ups every three weeks was just getting too much. While it grows in I have watched your gray hair wig videos and have ordered the Jon renau Elizabeth in martini. Thank you so much I feel so liberated! Now if only I had your gorgeous face bone structure!
Hi Monique, I love the Jon Renau in martini! its not the little old lady gray I was fearing. but you were right, people that knew me the longest said, don't go gray! but I got compliments on my hair from complete strangers saying how it matched my skin tone so well . I wish I had done it years ago!
I Love, Love, Love this cut on you with the layering of gray tones it is gorgeous!! I have been following you and got some Blue Steel, Manic Panic and did my hair and really like it but would love the layering of colors with the darker undertones. Hoping if I use the straight Blue Steel on the under hair I can get some darker gray like yours... Love you make up and hair tutorials...
Love your cut and style! I decided a year ago to go natural gray.. LOL best thing I've ever done. I also get so many compliments for some odd reason it makes me look younger. At least that's what I've been told. My hair is slightly longer than yours but the same style. I'm going to try your method of drying it tomorrow. It looks great on you!!!
This cut and color is GREAT on you!! Once I'm a bit more gray (or brave?!) maybe I'll give it a go. Two years ago I cut a foot of hair off and donated it to a local charity who make (free) wigs for children with cancer. There was probably 1/3 gray but it's more steel colored and not the beautiful white silver. My paternal aunts all had that beautiful white so I'd hoped but I got my mother's. Just started watching you today and am binge watching!! Stay beautiful!!
Susan's Faves I wonder if you've taken the dye free plunge, by now. Not everyone has the white hair, and that's ehat so lovely. Monique added Manic Panic to get this color, and she uses enhancing shampoos and sprays so this is, as she says, mostly natural. You should join a silver online group. Then you'd get to see ALL the beautiful variations of steel, silver and white. No two women look alike. I've been dye-free almost 10 months and have several different beautiful shades that change all the time.
Your videos are awesome and I'd love to see some more edgy styles because that's really in right now. I'd also love to see some product reviews. Love ur channel 😘💇🏼
Love this haircut and your color looks great on you with those gorgeous blue eyes. I really need to find a good stylist. I'm quite a bit older than you (67) and need a good haircut that is easy to style. I have curly hair so that makes it difficult to get that great cut from someone who knows about curly hair.
I can't believe I still haven't cut or dyed my hair (aside from my mom trimming the ends) since ronin was born 4 1/2 mo ago! I need your stylists info ASAP!
Have you tried any of the funky colors. I have a very silver color and it takes those colors easily. Right now I am a light golden pink. The colors are made by ION but the one I have right now I Loreal Colorista and the shade is named Peach (but it looks more pink, LOL)
I am trying to grow my hair into a bob from a very short pixie cut. I am at the inbetween stage which I can't do much with it. I like this style, you really suit it. Is that your natural hair colour or is it highlighted. The colour looks good.
+ Monique Parent, yes im the annoying one whos playing catch up! great Idea/tip to below dry against the brain!! Wud u put heated rollers in the same way please??! Xx
+Monique Parent yup! That's me... Messy bun most of time... When lazy to style it...But getting ready to chop probably 11 inches in a couple months... That way I can manage my desperate need for a good stylist... I live in the mid-south and it's been challenge since I've moved here...especially with colorist... At this moment I'm sporting brass hair... Haha just bought blue shampoo to tone it down... Haha who said growing older is easy... Never had long hair... Haha thanks for being sweet. Enjoy your week
Ok this is funny i have always blowed dryed my hair this way I never liked it when the salon would give me a blow out on my hair felt like they were ripping my hair out.
Thanks for sharing could you say what the name of the texturising mousse is please i have baby fine hair too and i think this would be good. oxox Vivienne
