The outfit you thought was crazy, was my favorite! Love mixing checks too. Yes girl, be. a little crazy. Some people go too far.! Maybe also think about, for that hard-to-style sweater, a long pleated skirt with boots or a silk bias a-line skirt, Looks like you could play with charcoal bottom too, but I like the tonal idea. By the way, I am a retired copywriter for fashion-- from start of 80s to 2014 Please don't be like everyone else, elevate your knowledge of fashion. Go online and find something that talks about styles of men's coat throughout the centuries. At least the different cuts and styles and what they're called. I say men's, because the long women's coats are often based on men's classic styles. Not all. You could research women as well. Not every long coat is a "trench." I don't know where that got started. It bugs me to death... thanks for reading and forgive my old lady rant.
Hi, I think you have a great style sense. The hard-to-style neutral sweater I think is great...try styling with maybe some full legged oatmeal linen or wool pants??? Anything really where you keep it tonal and it will look great, I think. You're hugely younger than I am, but I think style transcends age as far as ideas go. I just skip over shorts and things too young for me.
As a guy scrolling down the youtube i clicked to see this cute girl talking about styling.... but I ended up learning a lot about fashion, I'll stop wearing whatever my closet gives... I'll try be more fashioned orientated... thanks!
