These are very adult, sophisticated designs for fall. I usually don't like seasonal decor because it all feels so childlike and crafty. I like what you've done very much, especially the display unit with the bottles and acorns.

I love this for multiple reasons. You are bringing in the season while just giving it a nod really resonates with me. It feels like fall but it’s not in your face. The styling also doesn’t require a complete overhaul of what you have collected and use everyday (I’m not one whom likes to store my everyday collected items away for six months) you just tucked or switched items here and there.., boom and it’s fall. Lovely, sophisticated, and tastefully done. I am learning a lot from your edited styling.

Thank you for your advice. I’m trying to use nature as my guide. So at the end of the day, I’m not storing things but when all is done with the season I can just put it in the compost.

This is a great series. I've collected those brown little bottles but almost donated them because I thought they were "over". You reminded me that they still look so good for fall. Your transferware plates were a steal. Next time we are up there visiting our son, I'll have to get him to take me thrifting. I love transferware and use different colors for my seasonal decorating. I want to have baskets and bowls with pumpkins spilling out but it is not me. This nod to the season is much more pleasing. I love your home. It's so cozy.

Beautiful Sarah ! Love your bookcase the best…all the Ironware and brown bottles . Adore that Giant Acorn !!! Nice find. I never thought about glamming up the bottoms of all my acorns ! I have copper paint… my have to give it a try 🍁🍁 I use Andrea’s pictures in my home too. Such talent and what a beautiful baby boy she had ….💙💙💙💙 Perfect, classy ideas for AUTUMN DECOR…. I appreciate your creativity and steering away from store bought “decorations”. The past two years I’ve found myself doing the same, and focusing on decorating with color, and sophisticated items that aren’t necessarily “holiday decorations”. I'm always inspired with your videos. Great tips too. I have always named my old pictures, you should name your lady picture " Luchia" it's the name that the sea captain gave to Lucy in the old movie, "The Ghost and Mrs.Muir." It's a classic.

What lovely ideas you have and all very subtle. I like it better than the trend for big orange pumpkins and black&white checks! I'm in the UK and in general people don't seem to change things up for the season. But I change cushions, lampshades etc in seasonally appropriate colours. I also have small fabric pumpkins that I make myself in colours that go with the decor. Thanks for another great video :)

If you all don't have thrift shops, do people in your country keep what they use for a very long time? I heard that people in Europe are more minimalists than here in the US which is a good thing. The amount of stuff that being dropped off at thrift shops is sickening sometimes bc people change their styles too often due to the new trends coming from big stores.

Great inspiration ideas for fall. I do love the picture of the old lady and your gather sign. I also love etched pictures and have found some simple beautiful ones second hand of Victorian houses. I don’t think I will ever get bored of looking at them.

OMG! Just today, I noticed my empty Bourbon vanilla bottle was brown so.... you got it. I SAVED It ! Boiled the label off ! I love everything you thrifted, but was not crazy about the green artichokes. I think moss would look nice with pods, pinecones.

Just came across your channel. I love your subtle touches of fall . I’m not yet ready to let summer go but when I do, I’m going to try your natural approach. We have a country home, so country is my heart, way before farmhouse became a thing. As farmhouse turns into cottage core, I’m glad I never invested in the mass produced signs and decor. What sticks out with your seasonal style is you let the items vocalize the season without being too forward, it’s nice to take a break from too much seasonal holiday decor.

Everything looks so beautiful and a lot of beautiful character to the shelving I’ve collected brown bottles myself so I just take them and sometimes I leave them like you did plain or sometimes I put a little sprig of some thingBut you did a great job on thrifty sometimes I can visualize something and sometimes I let it go but great job and the pillows look beautiful as well you have a blessed day

I love thrifted decorations. I'm tired seeing fall and Christmas video hauls and the homes look like you're walking into a Hobby Lobby, Target, or Home Goods. Thrifted items are just so unique. I currently have the big urge to go thrifting but I have to stop myself bc we're in the process of moving 😞
