It's like Gaijin does not realize that with new benchmarks being pushed with new airplanes and/or ground vehicles, you have to decompress things. The game goes on these cycles where they decompress the BR and it becomes the best game ever and it slowly congests over time as new shit comes and they are so slow on pulling the trigger of decompression again. Like, just do it and see how people react, if the reaction is bad, revert it. They are so afraid of doing anything with their core systems. Like, just do the 0.7 BR SPLIT for matchmaking and see what it does. They say they like their data. Well, how are they going to collect that data if they don't create an environment that would provide that data.
If you want to dodge the Aim-9M that appeared in 1:15 flare and change direction, if that missile gets flared, it shuts off its head and goes in the direction it last saw you going to
You have one mistake with that strat, the inconsistencies of warthunder shall 50% of the time prevent any strat from ever working with no logical explanation
I feel like every player who’s in the flanker. Myself included, think they’re Mihaly from ace combat, every time they’re in a dog fight with one I can just hear “I want to understand the enemy!”
The fact that the Ceiling is STILL 12.3 with this thing terrorizing it.. its baffling. Gaijn needs to put this thing at 12.7 at the least 10 (6 SARH / 4 AAM) of the best missiles in the game on 1 plane + 6-16 player = 60 missiles - 160 missiles per team (if they were all SU-27's)
Now this is a missiles only Gameplay and the avionics and armament of the new jets are insane, they should set them at a higher br or either make a separate WVR guns only game mode
The game becomes more and more about the effectiveness of the missile rather than the pilots ability to pilot an aircraft. Nonetheless, it’s always great when you upload, it’s truly a highlight of my day. Thank you for your time and effort.
@@Fu-Jhio-Jhitsu It means "Post-Stall Maneuvering". Basically, the Sidewinder Technique and other such things. Things absolutely useless on the modern battlefield, where most engagements happen *WELL* out of visual range.
@@MrJinglejanglejingle okay, understood. Yeah, agree, but in the WT dogfight most likely the main fun thing, for real borrow things there is a still DCS, lol
@MrJinglejanglejingle Theoretically useful in the same instance it is in WT though, in a dogfight it pretty much means the plane is capable of pulling all the time, so you can line up a solution for the R73. Now how likely is that to happen IRL? Almost zero, but it could. But the whole disorganized within visual furball that WT matches always are allows that to happen more often
@@AlexanderRobert-sy9rc Ah man sorry I quite the game -- too addictive and exciting for me, hence got banned from house lololol. Just use whatever way to gind out the R73 first and it'll just get better. It was just painful for a few days. Try to learn some Beyond Visual Range BVR stff as well -- it works sometime. If you could win BVR fight and just dive down to people and spam R73, you'd get 5, 6 kills a game easily.
I get this as a joke but I gotta do an AKSHUALLY 🤓moment. That heavily depends on rules of engagement and how many missiles are fired at one target, for example several amraams are usually launched at one target thus lowering its statistical probability of kill. Ok sorry I’ll leave now lol
@@mrsteel250 He's talking about how r27s irl have horrible seekers and very low chances of hitting, but in warthunder they're a point and click auto hit every time lol.
@@areyou0k98 I thought so, I was trying to say it’s probably fairly likely whatever was carrying them historically their planes were probably so valuable (and expensive) to their owners they never let them get close enough to have a realistic probability of hitting anything
@@mrsteel250 I mean most recently a su-27 fired a r-27 at a slow moving c130 sized plane ( I forget exact type ) and it missed its target. It then fired another one that just fell off the plane didn't even ignite. So compare that to warthunder where they have the upmost pinpoint accuracy lol.
@@areyou0k98You can probably blame logistical incompetence for that lol. Russian weapon systems are great when they're well maintained and supported but let's be honest, that's almost never the case
Cue all the people that think the SU-27 is op. Its probably the worst of the 4 top tier jets that were added lol. F-15, Gripen and M4K run rings around this jet. Only thing that is good are the missiles and thats it, its flight performance is actually pretty damn disappointing.
F-15 is by far the worst jet, and Su-27 is the best of the non-dogfighting jets (so excluding Gripen and M4k). It has better AoA and access to the best missiles on the game (and two more radar missiles than the F-15 variants). There is nothing the F-15 variants do better in game besides acceleration
@@Iden_in_the_Rain IR wise I still think the AiM-9M is the best in the game. The F-15 also has better energy retention, the SU-27 shits all it's energy super fast. I'm just annoyed the SU flight model kinda sucks. I'd even rather have worse missiles for it if it could just have a decent flight model.
@@ArcticWipeout the problem is that you shouldn’t be trying to dogfight (i.e. not turning much) until you’re out of missiles, which the Su-27 has the best missiles in the game and the most of them, and once you’re out of missiles you can dogfight better than any of the BVR/missile focused jets and are only at a slight disadvantage to the dogfight focused jets. So in essence it’s either at a major advantage or a slight disadvantage depending on the plane you’re facing
Eh? You just play it like a delta with good missiles from what I've seen. Yeah the flight model could be better but it's hardly bad, just a missile truck that can pull hard to get shots off
This jet kinda feels to me like the logical conclusion of the MiG-21SMT at 10.3 just for top tier Decently fast and pulls AoA for days, and has a bunch of really strong missiles but isn't much for the sustained dogfight.
