Dr. Greggs and Dr. Haymer wrote every 4/4 arrangement in 6/8 time! No other band director "duplicated" that! Only the " Dolls" could keep up with that dance tempo!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

The trumpets were so much stronger back then. It makes the band sound balanced. It's also crazy how much sound they are putting out and you dont see as much yanking and swaying as you see these days,.
@@jimbeam3783 Exactly nowadays you don't see that and everybody is trying to look the same and sound the same.Back then you couod close your eyes and tell which band was who!
