look at 2:06 Stillman was already turned toward SU then at 2:09 watch the tubas.. that's when SU turned toward them.. SU took over and they were all you could hear but Stillman hung in there lol
I know everyone keeps talking about size difference, but we keep forgetting that just 14 years ago SU was only marching 150 strong and was still throwing knock outs in the SWAC.
I said it once i said it a thousand times. Dont sleep on these small bands, they are just as capable of bringing that fire to these larger bands. Both are damn good programs....shout out to both! Love Southern and Stillman. Keep it up!
I'm a Stillman band alum and kinda honored to have Southern's attention, LOL. Good ole fashioned battling and I have no issues with it! This clip doesn't tell the whole story tho. SC aint never been no heaux!!!
Wish I could have been able to hear this as it went down. Can't believe that I am saying this but this is funky as hell. Sounds as if both bands coordinated this together. Got to give the devil its due, that's a good and funky groove that the Jukebox is working

also jsu...these are the only bands i notice whom actually drum major conducts the band ..powerful as Su suppose to be..there drum major never conducts the band...he just there for show and show only..The boom wouldve never disrespected another band ..no matter how small or WHAT they did.
Of all the bands there Stillman took 2nd place... under those circumstances, they stood up and played with might like a band should. Much more entertaining than asu & dega

They help bring the band back in certain parts after a tuba break, that’s still doing something. the DM still is doing something, ya acting like the DM can’t have fun. You can see the BDs also having fun nd getting hype. So why can’t the DM get lit?

Pause.....What in the ENTIRE HELL was that last note SU trumpets. At least the last note in 16 wasn’t that bad cause the dude hit the note and fell off. jay Vee I was at the game aswell gram didn’t eat nothing. Gram is louder than previous years but they ain’t ate nun. Gram was not an interest for JSU. I have family in jsu band. They all said that. And if you were there you’d know that gram didn’t sound all that hot they did enough just to get by. Jsu sounded wayyyyy better if you just wana keep it 💯
