These were the pipeline years of NOLA band players from high school to an easy college transition, most were born playing instruments. Started by learning to play fundamentals from elementary to high school lol. By the time the majority of these band members graduated on to college they already had a minimum of 8 years playing. Some of these students could play multiple instruments with precision. Tone, quality , and ability to read sheet music was on an advanved level. Music saved a lot of kids from the streets, taught discipline , self worth and teamwork. My 👒 is off for the past, current and future band members to keep a rich tradition alive. NOLA for life
Jukes were putting out some watts. Anybody that has ever sat in the corner on the home side knows thats a long way from the band section. Aug wasnt a slouch either that year.
