Are you mad? Cobra maneuver makes the aircraft lose all its airspeed which is a death sentence for aircraft conducting evasive maneuvers under missile threat. SCALP is an Air to surface cruise missile .....it not anti AWACS or anti refuellers. IAF uses KS 172 Novator as AWACS killer missile

Yep. Exact insight. All these happened in waves and there was tremendous radar activity all through the preceding hours into the attack, which was a ploy for deception by the PAF. It was real high octane stuff every pilot, every ground based forces, technicians every leader on either side of the border would dream and die for their respect forces and countries. It was history that was made that day. Proud of the IAF and due regard for the daring effort of the PAF.

No doubt on capabilities of Su 30 & our pilots. The question is despite having the world's best missile like Brahmos, why it is not used to shoot down enemy aircrafts that ventured in Indian territory. When we struck Balakot just a few days back, did we not expect a retaliation?

I know it's late but whenever I see this video, I always think that the "Quantity over Quality" argument must be scrapped in the case of Indian Forces.
The R-77 is probably not as good as the AIM-120. Western electronics are notoriously more compact than Russian ones, this is pivotal in missle design. The word is that the R77 has better aerodynamic performance (G's, speed, maneuverability) but the AMRAAM has better radar, ECCM, and guidance.
@@Aspirant_Railway Sukhoi-30 mki maximum service ceiling is 56000 ft and F-16 maximum service ceiling is 50000 ft so it's not possible to Target Su-30 mki. I don't think they are flying so low like you have mentioned in the comment. Sukhoi-30 mki have N011M, a radar that uses an electronically scanned (phased array) which have range upto 400 km and Track range upto 200 km so there is possibility that Pakistanis f-16 was out of Sukhoi-30mki maximum track range and they throwing missile from that range so thats why they are not able to Target Su-30 mki and Su-30 mki never able to Target Pakistanis F-16. I think Sukhoi-30 mki are not carrying long range air to air missile like R-37 which has range upto 300 km
The Chinese will be using their s 400 to guard their eastern seaboard in case of a war with USA, Japan or South korea.Its not ment for us but to take out American aircraft carrier battle groups....😎
