The two weeks after the birth of care is definitely something that isn’t available in America and would be too expensive unless rich. But usually family members or church members bring food over the first week so you don’t have to cook. But I can see it being helpful especially while healing. Do husbands come and spend time learning about baby care or spend time with their wives during the two weeks? Or can they spend the night? Congrats on your new precious baby! I think most of us don’t understand till older how long it takes to heal and the process after birth.

Gave birth 3 months ago. Due to the pandemic, I wasn't able to have my family with me inside the labor ward. I labored for 16 hours but ended up having an emergency Caesarian operation. The labor hurt so much. I was alone, scared and crying most of the time. Believe me when I say I know exactly how bad it hurt. I cried happy tears when I saw you finally holding your precious baby. Great job, Momma! And to Daddy, too, for having been very supportive and caring. God bless your beautiful family.
