Edit 1: it turns out 54s exactly counts for the task, someone had a screenshot of them getting the task on exactly 54s, this means you can after acid phase do 1 extra dhcb hit and 1 less lance hit, to maximize your ticks and end on exactly 54s instead of 53.4s. At the time of making this it was unclear whether it had to be below or exactly 54s.
Just theory crafting here, with the change to ACB spec, would it be viable to use that and spec on Ruby bolts at the start of the fight? Or is it better to just re-run the kill as many times as it takes to get lucky with Ruby bolt procs at the start and save spec for claws.
Hey man I love your vids you are an inspiration. Just some constructive feedback. I haven't noticed this on any of your other vids but this one it seems the music you have playing in the background is turned all the way up. It doesn't necessarily drown out your voice but it makes it kind of hard to focus on. Either that or I'm just autistic. I've spent 7hrs on attempting this and just only got him to 6hp on my final Lance hit, and at the same time he melee KO'd me. I'd update this RNG rating to a 9/10 tbh.
just got it on my rune dragon alt with melee and mythical cape, serp helm, and ddefender, (54s exactly) - just really good RNG with the BGS lol. great vid btw
same, I got 57 seconds with a lance and 1 dwh spec. very lucky. The problem is most of my times are no where near that, they go as low as 1:20's and 1:30's. tbh I'd much rather do this with a melee setup, idk why I'm just used to melee Vorkath now and I don't even have a dhcb at the moment.
i did 46 second zbow/dhb only, if you want a world record fair enough but if you want something simple and minimum effort duo crossbows is the way to go
Yea I plan on doing a guide for those as well! I'll probably be doing the zulrah guide next, then hydra, and grotesque guardians. Those ones are pretty simple, and I wanna knock out the simple ones first. Gauntlet guide will be one of the more complicated ones to do because of how much rng there is and decision making the player needs to make.
hey question, would you know what would be the best way to achieve this without claws? right now i've been doing 2 bp specs instead but I've only gotten close
Hey, best bet is granite maul funny enough. It's only slightly better than blowpipe in terms of average dps gain, but also has way higher max potential damage, so it's what I'd recommend, I might try doing some simulations at some point to test out various budget spec weapons.
Hi Molgoat, is there any reason why the 2 blowpipe hits are in between the first 5 & the 6th DHCBs ? Could you do 2 blowpipe hits at the start followed by 6 DHCB hits and achieve the same result, or no ?

Hey, I do plan on at some point giving the method I had in mind a try for lowest inferno, might be a while between all the stuff I have planned, and some hand/wrist issues that kinda put me off of wanting to flick non-stop for that long lol, but I do really want to try it at some point. Would definitely do some sub 50 capes first before trying out the sub 40 method though, as the sub 40 method I have in mind is just next level difficult, but way less time consuming than the other 2 possible ways of doing it.
@@Molgoatkirby Will you be doing a single jad speed kill guide? I noticed the tzhaar-ket-rak challenge 1 is higher hp than a normal jad. Best Ive been able to do is 1 minute with only melee using combo of dharoks/c hally specs and veng
@@IUltorius if you have max geare its east just vange up before starting dwh spec... tbow chinn the healers tbow boss and dead... no need for healer skip... if you dont have tbow you migth need to do healer skip with claws or somthing then you need to vange after healers come out.
Can someone explain why the speedrunning tasks are not retroactive whereas the kc ones are? My pb is under 54secs yet I still have to endure this rng fest
Because the achievements were released after BP nerf, so it was easier to get certain PBs with old BP. They even said they were delaying releasing CAs until after BP nerf.
