Light bikes aren't for everybody. Any bike that weighs less than 7 kg is too light for me (I almost lost control when I pedaled out of the saddle on a customer rim-braked Scott Foil I was working on as I had no idea it was this light) as I'm very accustomed to my 9+ kg road bike, 10+ when loaded for a ride, I started LEKAS 2019 with the bike weighing at 11+, the heaviest it's been. 7 - 8 kg is the lightest I'm willing and content to go for.
