It doesn't matter. She was a big part of a huge success for SM. It's okay for her to feel a certain way. They gave a big part of their lives to the company it's only natural to feel bad when they treat you like you're not 'family' after all those years
It feels so good to see her feel comfortable enough to make jokes like these. She really grew so well. I remember in the past she got so much hate for being "mean" that she was always trying to defend herself and diffuse jokes as misunderstandings and she was sensitive to her image. Now she is confident in herself, who she is, what she can do that she can even make a joke "you bought this building because of me" 🤣😍 I'm so proud of you Fany!
Totally agree with you. K-Pop stans nowadays put too much attention to things like this. I mean, it's actually a joke that she said "you bought this building because of me", well, frankly saying, she made a contribution here no matter when SM actually bought the building, but everyone be like "it's not Tiffany (SNSD) who bought it, it's blablabla" like heyyy chill, bro, you don't need to take the joke and comfy convos like this that way ahahahaha
u can just tell she's a veteran in this industry bc of her wit & energy!! she's confident and sure of herself i love that about her & other veteran* gg's esp snsd!! 💖
@@willa9880 she doesnt have any plastic surgery... there's a procedure that no need some needles..contouring is not a PS.. and of course signs of aging
@@willa9880you talking like it’s a new thing to kpop. 99% of idols nowadays have at least done one thing to enhance their face/appearance. Even if she has done it, I see nothing wrong since she may just wanted to look better on movie screen, which is a normal mindset of all actors and entertainers.
Glad they’re being nice and pleasant to her during this interview. They better stay that way from now on. We haven’t forgotten how the Korean media treated her after the Snapchat “scandal.”
I am also surprised to hear that. I think rehearsals are important to build stamina as well. And my first thought was...."Ahh... No wonder, the new gen of KPop idols seems so different." Well, perhaps not all of them, but still....
2nd gen idols were really different... These days, everyone is saying "of course they don't sing live for $30! Of course you are half-heartedly doing a rehearsal!" ...and the performance, and the encore. That's the standard now because you weren't a fan when they were putting their all into every performance and probably getting paid less than these new idols.
@@moonlightchill4538 yeah and what's the reason for that? it's not the idols themselves, it's the music shows and the companies that demand them to lipsync
I never knew there were so many people bending their backs to excuse or protect a company for such nonsense. First of all, nothing Tiffany said here is that serious, is a comedic talk show. You all are acting as if she accused SM for mistreatment on a press conference. She's just talking about parking and coffee, she's not demanding anything, she was not expecting preferential treatment, just common courtesy or some consideration from the company she went to work for. (considering she often buys coffee and pastries for everyone she visits, is understandable, that is something she might expect) Not the end of the world, she mentioned it for the laughs. The part about how different rehearsals are now, was just to point out how things have changed. Is true that rehearsal were different because they would practice to stand out even if they were further in the back, the average idol now has their own fancam following all their movements and facial expressions, it is easier to charm viewers. (Think about Tsuki case. Do you think she would have gone viral on a group fancam? It was because her personal camera captured how charming and good she is that she grabbed people attention) Tiffany ended up calling herself and being called old and old-fashioned, once again for the laughs, it wasn't serious.
She's hilarious and gorgeous. And being a veteran looks damn good on her. Shes grown into an even more shining version of herself. Even as a SONE I am so proud of her.
I think she's referring to how should a company treats their visitor, and no, not any visitor but someone who actually collaborates with the company. anyways.. the title itself is misleading.
Totally understandable, given that Tiffany is no longer a direct employee of SM Entertainment. But, it would also be nice for SM to improve their process in accommodating their contract-based artists (e.g. Tiffany, Kyuhyun, Donghae) like requiring their management to liaise these earlier with SM for a smooth experience for both the former artists and their management when entering the building. P.S.: I am not familiar with the standard protocols. Still, it made me think of possible improvements since Kyuhun raised a similar concern too, as someone who’s also contracted for his group-related activities in SM Entertainment.
@@NewCaledonia1987 it's just too much of a petty move when the said artist is going to actually work for the company, recording and rehearsing for their album project and not just visiting and playing around and such. Should've given a temporary pass for the duration of the album production.
@@NewCaledonia1987 not if you are going to basically rehire that person to do special projects for your company temporarily. That's basically just greed, pettiness, and disrespect. If she's there to just visit and play around then yeah, she has to pay for parking, etc. But she's basically there as a senior employee, doing works again and making them more money. That's just lame tbh. No wonder LSM tried to takeover and one by one moved out of there.
Aside from that parking or coffee incident. Tiffany raises a valid point here. Kpop these days are all about visuals and dancing but where are the vocals? That's the real performance. SNSD and Red Velvet had such incredible vocal lines but these days the rapper line of both groups can do better than the main vocalists of new groups
the way y’all have turned into the stans that criticized snsd back in their prime also if you actually looked into 4th gen you’d see that there are many groups that put in the effort and are passionate about their job
Back then in SNSD high time, i became a Fanytastic after i watched her on that babysitting show, that Tiffany and this Tiffany are basically still the same, her true character, hardly contained honest to god straight forward Fany with no holds bared ❤ she's just so genuine you can't resist the charm it creates around her.
You are damn right you are one of the foundations of that building you will not be called "Nations Girl Group" for nothing. Sad to say but I think the 20th SNSD anniversary will be as grand as their 15th anniversary as LSM is not in SME anymore it was only possible because LSM made it possible. I love Fany's energy, bluntness and killer smile. I remember when she was one of the mentors in GP999.
I've been a fan of Tiffany since 2011 and it's been 13 years now, so I naturally grew up with her. From "Fanytastic" to "YoungOne", literally. The thing I like about her is her cute, bright, and kind-hearted personality, she's very caring but at the same time she's very polite and always knows how to behave in different places / occasions. She has this smart girl vibes, sometimes elegant, classy, independent woman. She really was and is still my role model. & I never regret stanning her. It's nice to see her having fun and comfy convos like this, and even make jokes about it, so pleasant to know~ So Tiff, whichever path you choose, I'll always cheer for you , support you, and don't you worry I've got your back girl! Keep on shining ♡
The title of this video implies that SM treated Tiffany 'badly' and specifically says that she was "sad" about it, and MBC treats the two minute segment as the principle topic of the whole conversation. Tiffany is clearly amused at her own confusion in her change of status from being an employee to being just a visitor, because she defaulted to 13 years of habit, unconsciously expecting that her coffee and parking would be free. As the female host correctly noted, the reception staff were just following protocol, as they should, despite Tiffany's significant association with SM, and as the male host also correctly pointed out, having to pay for coffee and parking wasn't really a big deal, to which Tiffany laughingly agreed....which is the exchange that completely undermines the implications of the video title MBC has used. It's just unnecesary 'clickbait' titling. Just having Tiffany on is enough to generate views on its own, without stooping to manufacture a 'scandal'. I'll still give a like, because overall the interview/chat is fine, but I disapprove of how its been presented.
I think the title is quite fair. It doesn't exaggerate anything and says things as they are. It's obviously meant to grab the attention of people, but I don't think there's any clickbait at all. Facts: - Tiffany was treated very differently compared to before despite being a familiar person - Tiffany was forced to follow protocol as if she was completely unrelated - Tiffany was upset at that difference in treatment The title is entirely fair.
But so tru tho the rehearsal part, n maybe thats y 1st- 3rd gens all had passionate high energied vibez while they are performing cuz they are performing like their rents and bills are due and piling up 😂😂
Their rents and bills were due and piling up though, most k-pop artists are in debt to the company until their music becomes profitable? They have to pay for their training. They usually don’t make any money until years after their debut depending on how successful they are.🥲

Frankly it's business.. it's like Kyuhyun, Dong hae and Eunhyuk also said SM probably deleted their biometric access entry also when they left.. I am sure HYBE would do the same, as they also use facial recognition for access. I am not sure if it's Sunmi or BamBam once said they went back to JYP and also found they had to pay for parking now they are considered non employees.
She wasn't randomly showing up out of nowhere. She was there for SNSD rehearsal. It was a planned event. It's like at movie studio lots, they know you're coming in advance and already have your information at the security gate. SM is acting petty.

Has MBC turned into one of those trash sites where they create dramatic header for click bait and hate comments? She went there TO WORK on SNSD's 15th anniversary project which brings profit to SM too no?. She is not complaining about having to pay but more towards how those SM mgmt should at least have the curtesy to inform them to expect certain procedures when in the building vicinity for the first time since she hasn't been there after she left the agency.
It's just like when you resigned from a company and they remove your ID and access, it's totally normal, you don't have a contract with the company anymore. They can't let anyone in even if they were famous.
The thing is Tiffany is still under contract based for SNSD, so IF SM has professional manner towards all of their contract, they will process to give access to all those who still even under contract based. Since it is mutual need, SM also need Tiffany to do rehearsal
@@observer5427What’s wrong with extending courtesy to a former executive or (artist) who help build your company to what is it now? In some countries that is not called professionalism, but ingratitude.

She is no longer a part, yes! But she's coming for work. She's working for SM's group which is girls generation. There's a big difference if you are just coming there to visit randomly. Do you think the producers, choreographers, and other people working FOR SM but not an employee of SM pays parking fees? I doubt that. But with this logic, she is just making a joke, obviously.
Tiffany you are indeed my favorite. You are all rounder. Nobody can surpass you in your sensuality. I wonder why you haven’t launched your solo career seriously. Look at you. Your glow is real.
but she came there as a member of SNSD, not just a guest who wanted to visit to reminisce... try to imagine, you were already successful and carried the name of your school while you were studying there, then a few years later you were SPECIFICALLY INVITED by your school to carry the name of the school Again, that means, all accommodations related to your school (parking, food, activities, rooms, etc.) are accommodated by your school as long as you as SPECIAL GUEST in there... This is different from if you only visits as an ordinary guest/alumni who wants to see the school.
@Duma2011 You're right, we totally got your point. Even in our workplace, once you resigned, benefit and privileges are not the same anymore BUT on the others PERSPECTIVE (her pov) -she's was invited to make a REUNION of SNSD (Forever1)- comeback -she used to be an SNSD (who made SM successful in during times of Snsd) - just like schools - in some companies (even though business is business, if there's a collaboration of diff individuals/organization/former staff- they have these kind of Gesture from the main company) i dont know, but felt sad for what tifanny felt
Jennie no longer with YG right, so it's understandable if she also got same treatment like Tiffany, but Nayeon still in jyp, so it's illogical is she also were treated like that
i mean i totally get it if it's business protocol but you would think they'd be grandfathered in... lmao... most companies do that after you reach a certain amount of years worked there (i.e. disney companies)
"Funny Members" but she said almost everyone except TaeTiSeo 😂 even TaeTiSeo are funny in their own way I mean Girls' Generation is indeed comedian lol

Yes, she left the company so she doesn't get employee perks. But she wasn't visiting the company to socialize, she went to do work. Like, they couldn't validate her parking, really?
Huh? She's still the same though. How is it ruined? She just lost so much weight. She still has the eye smile and beautiful smile to come with. Plus she's reaching 35 yrs old. She mature. You just want them to look exactly like how they were before? 😂
