It's pretty amazing to see these subtle changes and the conscious effort to keep a uniform look, or not in Sooyoung's case. After all these years they are still fighting for attention, but we get the benefit as fans.
Even back in their rookie days they were already way more easy going than groups nowadays. Imo is a mix of the industry having less pressure and the average training length was longer back then.
@@biazachaI think that there was also less social media for the 2nd gen idols. They could be themselves on and off stage a lot more, and show their individual personalities. That’s not to detract from 3rd and 4th gen and their own talents etc; but with the onslaught of social media, they have to be a little more wary and toe the line.
This is why SNSD is the best gg ever. They are fun, talented and gorgeous across such a large group. There is simply nothing else like them out there and there may never will be again.

Unpopular opinion: Sooyoung would never survive as a 4th gen idol. She's too loud, too aggresive, sometimes makes fun of her own choreos, and is even openly dating someone. The modern fandom would chew her up. But luckily she belongs to us SONE and we love her because of all those things ❤

As a long-time kpop listener, I've witnessed SNSD's debut and everything, and meanwhile their songs are great, this is the first time I've really watched them in variety shows -- hot damn they are HILARIOUS!! Like I'm really shocked at Hyoyeon's personality, she seemed the most cool-headed to me, yet she's such a teaser! These girls are truly gems ✨✨
it's so good to see GG having a good time together even though they are not in the same company anymore. Their bond never gets lost and they still make time together.
Sooyoung continuing her years of Charity Work and donated Gifts to a Kids School the other day. Their are unfair accusations about her, but if you just listen to what people who know SNSD, have been saying, she has a Tsundere character on TV. The tough members like Sooyoung and Hyoyeon are actually very soft. If SNSD members are in trouble, Sooyoung is the one that will come running. These girls had to deal with alot, and still do, right from an early age. In bad times, SNSD is what they only have, no wonder its dear to them. Also Sunny and LSM talk is accurate. They didnt interact much before, and she worked hard and gained fame in SNSD on her own.
