Yeah, that's why new gr86/brz doesn't have Impressive top speed, they about the same as previous generation.

Well the one is 2022 and one is 2000

This was actually pretty bad. S2000 sound like it was short shifting and it was def shifting slow.

Except that components are much cheaper nowadays, technology is deflationary. I get what you’re saying, but it’s not entirely accurate. If you have owned both, which I have, you would know which one you’d want. Lol

@@cameronj9890the FA20 and the FA24D are subarus most reliable engine they don’t have the same headgasket issues like the EJ engines however! They’re oil sensitive I’ve seen people throw cheap 0w20 oil in these and they blow up. Get the major brands like Castrol, amsoil and Liqiud moly and you will be find for 250,000kms

eps in s2000 actually kinda dull, new gr86 have a bit more feedback than s2000. But yeah for everything else s2000 still feels more raw, because gr86 is so refined

like it or not brz make more low end torque then the ap1 s2k and they weight about the same so the car is faster of the line but the jdm spec brz/gr86 make more power due to there higher ron fuel they make 237 10 more then the us spec so expect the most powerful version of the brz/gr86 to be just as quick top end and much faster on the low end compare to the s2000 and its a better daily car they tested both car on track and stock to stock lap times are very similar so yes the new brz is a today s2000

​@@patthonsirilim5739torque is a component of horsepower. Gearing is adjusted to keep cars in their powerband. Horsepower doesn't exist with our torque. The S makes more torque at 7800rpm than a BRZ makes at whatever it's peak hp rpm is. I suggest you keep learning.

A stock K24 is not going to be fastest than a stock s2000 engine they only make 160hp to 205hp depending on which k24 unless you talking about modifying the k24 then yea it be unfair comparison this is stock vs stock. A stock K24 isn’t gonna touch a stock fa24

Reason is probably the torque, it has 42nm of torque more than S2000

2.0 in the s2000 is faster than all, it just needs a driver mod. 0 to 60 should be under 6 seconds
