FYI dodge is discontinuing the charger and challenger, also GM is discontinuing the camero. Corporations are switching us over to EV weather the consumer wants it or not, it’s what the corporations want and the governments want.
Just hear me out. Subaru caves to these rally "enthusiasts". They continue to make a ICE Sti. It's now year 2026 Subaru the company and owners are continuing to lose millions of dollars on repairs and warranty claims. But at least we have the 2025 wrx sti. It will still have a 2.5 4 cylinder turbo boxer getting 325 HP and 13 mpg 💀. You will be getting smoked by electric mini vans all day, but at least you'll have that rumble. 😑
@Gamaliel Dawson Jr I understand where you're coming from, why make another lackluster, outdated sports car when electrification is so much easier? I don't agree that these are their only 2 options though. I'd love to see them improve performance and reliability of a gas engine, maybe even some sort of tunable hybrid powertrain. call me old fashioned but heck yeah I love the rumble, it's the best part. I guess I just wanted to see them really try to make something special before they stopped gas completely. Maybe I'm completely wrong and the new electric STI will be awesome. I hope so! But until then I am just extremely disappointed.
Hot take, I like the new 2022 WRX. The black clad on the sides has grown on me. The bumper is wack though. I think that this is just a smart business decision on Subarus part. Tuner cars don’t make up a significant part of their market to justify them making this sort of car anymore. And I hate to say it but…EVs are the future. Better get good at computer programming bois
