Slide hammer or and hub puller I love my Hub Grappler Tool The most but most slide hammer kits come with a hub puller attachment you can even use a 2 or 3 Jaw puller as well for hubs like these

Replaced the front hubs on my C4 and it was a piece of cake.

You're missing out on the vibration when the tool hits the torque setting mark. Haha 😁

I make the clicking noise when I think I'm close with the Box open-end wrench. I work Aerospace that's how we do it.

Good job Glen, I'm tired and (too old lol) to be laying around on the floor of the garage doing work on my vehicles. It's also too hard to get the C7 off the ground using a low profile jack for oil changes etc. I think it's time for some quick jacks for us :) I know I've earned a set after being on the bench for 35 years and all of the pains we earn! LOL

Hidden rust like the fuel tank was rusted at the seam and leaking but I guess it could be worse?

Hey bud what are the torque specs for the top two bolts that hook into the shock at the top of the knuckle? I removed my knuckle and did the replacement in my shops bench vise to clean off all the corroded crud before I put the new bearing in, I can't find those specs anywhere

I don't recall exaxtly what year that car was but '99 and up are pretty much the same design.

@@ozzstars_cars, I know 2001 to 2004 have a different knuckle. It doesn't have a cartridge with a 4 bolt pattern, but rather you press the bearings right out of the bore in the knuckle. If you look at the knuckles online you can tell a hell of a difference. Kind of threw me for a loop, but I'm workin on a 2001 right now and they're gonna hit the press fer sure today. Have a good one man!
