I have the rotora 6 front. 4 rear slotted two piece kit on my sti for far two years still as good as new even thro winter. ❤i got the wr blue color for my wr blue 2020 sti
this is awesome. I did the 18+ sti brake swap on my 2018 wrx and its the best mod I've done by far. I wonder if this massive 4 pot rears helps the front braking bias some. Brakes are such an under rated mod.
Yellow would have definitely looked good as well, but would have been too out there with what I have going on with the car. The white just flows so well with everything else.
I noticed you changed the direction of the drilled rotors from this video. Is there a reason why? My shop is telling me that this is the correct way and most people installing it wrong? Could you help me out, which is the correct way?
6k! Not terrible tbh. If I ever pull the trigger it has to be AP racing or nothing else. I've been drooling over them since I had a license. That J hook rotor is just ridiculous.
Hi there, do you have any idea what offset for that big brake that I can’t use negative for camber.I’m referring wheels not having negative camber. Just plug and play wheels in that rota brakes.. thank you in advance more power.
Never ran them on this car so hard to say, but I know the +40 offset on them does not work with the pre 2018 brembos without spacers. Most people would go with the +27.
Breaks are looking good! For the wheels you have. I’m looking at going 265/35/19 I see yours are 18’s do you have any fitment issues? Also what offset do you have?
All brake kits are different sizes. I don’t have experience with them so not sure how they will fit. It also depends on the wheel as well. Lots to consider and factor in.
how much are the lug nuts supposed to be tighten for the STi’s, to be more specific (pounds) if i make any sense lol. Just can’t remember the name. i got aftermarket wheels, will be installing them later this week. So i wanna know in advance if there’s anything you suggest.
quick question, with the bbk, do you think we have to go with stainless or can we stick to using rubber brake lines? I've been reading around about the pros and cons of each type and it seems like overall, the rubber will be better for daily usage but I'm trying to figure out if I would still be able to use rubber with a bbk?
Shoot. Just saw your car at R/T tuning last week and got so I sprinted for my 2021 wrx that I’ve had for 9 days now. Just about to install my fortune auto 500 gen 7 coilovers this week.
