Thanks, I’m really trying to improve my craft. My house is very basic and doesn’t serve well as backdrops for my videos so I have to improvise and make things look pretty. I wish I was better at cinematic shots like Donald, but with more time and better equipment I’m sure that will come
Having a diff breather is definitely a good idea I need to start planning for. Along with the ECU relocate on our outback. We'll put together video. Should we add the extra security of a small hose clamp where the vinyl tube connects to the transmission dipstick area. Just so it doesn't move and or if the heat from the trans and engine degrade the vinyl it'll still seal good. 🙂
Definitely wouldn’t hurt. I based a lot of this off a guide from Subieliftoz and don’t remember them clamping the breather on, as it fits right as is. Your point about the engine heating up the vinyl makes me rethink that however
Benny Bleuger don’t know, but it’s happening to all us offroad subaru RU-vidrs haha. Can’t tell you about breather on the SH either, as I’m only familiar with the early gen forester
