Can this transmission be used in a Vanagon Engine Swap? Or does it matter if you use the stock VW trans out of the van?

Did you guys have to modify the wiring harness and reflash the ECU at all? I've always wanted to use this setup, the trans modifications seem pretty simple, im just worried about electronics

Hi mate. Looking at doing the reverse pinion swap for my bug - have a turbo legacy as a motor donor. Can you explain the difference between turbo and non turbo transmissions? The strength differences or just ratio? Cheers
