Man, could you imagine a Subcommanders battle in WH3? I can already see a mixed army of the Monogod factions going up against a mixed order faction, in a display of true, proper Chaos Undivided where all its colors and glories are unleashed on the world, instead of the boring ass Chaos Undivided grey-black blob we usually see(for warriors anyway) in the lore.
Itll be awesome finally seeing Cathay in the order factions a la grand alliance against chaos. I can already see Cathay, Empire/Kislev, Dwarves/Lizardmen, High elves/Wood elves vs Nurgle/Slaneesh/Tzeentch/Khorne, Chaos undivided/WoC, beastmen, norsca, ?chaos dwarves? (Idk if they really would side with chaos) and of course mannfred
@@mrgermanvono35 Chaos Dwarves would definitely side with Chaos, but moreso because they'd see an oppurtunity for money in it. There is some lore that says that Chaos Warrior armor is actually made by the Chaos Dwarves(while other lore states that it is a gift from the Chaos Gods. It's a bit confusing and unclear what is actually cannon nowadays)
WH3 will also give us an opportunity to have humans-only team that is still full Order. Also can't wait for the greenskins to join forces with equally savage ogres.
Did the Peggies ever actually do anything? Looked like they just stayed perfectly still for ten minutes, flapped about a bit, then charged into Malekith and got beat.
I think Order might have won that if the wood elf player had left his archers on fire at will. So much dead time where they didn't fire and didn't get to use ammo!
Good video once again! The beauty of these is the multiple shot angles, really bringing out the fantastic visuals and cinematic moments of the series. Also the casting is just really good Indy! You make it look like you're always at the most important moments of the battle :P Loved the monster bash, poor Rat Mutant ogre getting bursted down xP
Subcommanders is a really good idea, especially since you could expand on it even more; Let´s say you start the battle with only 1 massive army but you give each spectator command of a part ( infantry/artillery/cavalry) and just command them via the colored arrows, like a true general.
I am also talking not only about the look of units but the reflection that makes terrain beautiful. For some reason, it is as if these graphics are omitted from daytime maps.

3:45 I disagree. If its chaff that can dish out decent damage and you can kill them still in cost effective manner id shoot them. I meant its marouders with GW. they can weaken your frontline enought for next waves to actualy kill it easilly. if it was shielded marouders 100% not shooting, in this case, sure do.

@candyman I think the difference is that dark elves want to rule, not just burn away the whole world. That is why in the end they would oppose Chaos in the end times, even if they are not above using demons and chaotic magic if it helps them against their foes. They plunder to build up their own realm, technically putting them more towards order or neutral. Though maybe destruction could definitly apply. I am unsure. I think I heard somewhere that Chaos and Destruction do differentiate in certain ways. Where demons are definitly both, Orcs would be Destruction without Chaos. How Dark elves exactly fit into destruction would fit into that would be debatable to me, but chaos seems to definitly not apply, you are right.
@@FUNBadTime Chaos doesent either. That's why end times made no sense whatsoever. Chaos wants to corrupt the world and turn it into the chaos wastes worldwide ™ where humans only exist to follow their base instincts and power the chaos gods. Destroying the world would be suicide for chaos.
in multiplayer/custom picking Legendary lords has no bearing on the price of troops or their baseline effectiveness. Drycha's Elves arent any weaker or different cost, thats a campaign only feature. There are Wood Elf Lord choices with Kurnous Precision and other AOE buffs that help archers, but Drycha brings summons and Lore of Shadow, both of which can be very useful regardless
@@trixon2118 Malekith violently opposes Chaos. Khaine didn't like Chaos and neither will his chosen Witch King. If you are even suspected of Chaos worship in Dark elf society your entire bloodline is slaughtered.
