Subispeed - 2015 WRX Subaru OEM Mirror Turn Signal Kit Install 

One thing to note: I did this install on my girlfriend's Crosstrek and used a heat gun to prep the OEM indicator blanks and they pulled off without breaking. Also, be sure that you use a wider flat blade screwdriver head when prying - it distributes the force more evenly.

Follow the wiring diagram don’t listen to the guy for the pin connections. On the passenger side red goes to grey and black goes to only black available on bottom. 2018 wrx premium

Thanks for the video. I tapped a garbage can in my 2015 Outback with the passenger outside mirror and the assembly slapped the window. No damage to the housing, but the mirror was loose at the bottom. By seeing your video, I saw how the mirror clipped onto the motor. I simply pressed firmly on the bottom of the mirror and it snapped in place. Easiest fix ever!

Figured it out for the LIBERAL KIT. once wires are run to specified location, use two add a fuse. One for the seat warmers as Kevin specifies. The other to the 20amp 12v plug location. Black wire goes exactly where Kevin says. (You will need t taps for that). White wire is the welcome light, and goes to the 15A seat warmer add a fuse. Blue wire is your DRL. That will go to the 20A 12V plug add a fuse. Now that I know, it is easy. But I will not be having to do this again. Hope this will help someone else out there.

Thanks Kevin. Note you can elect not to take off the mirror glass and still have room to fish the wires. On the righthand mirror gray is the positive and next to it is the black negative connector (on main chassis harness).

Please do a install for the liberal led option!...... Extra harness for the drl hook up is vague and what connector to use?????

Passenger wiring harness has two ground wires (black) and the red and white wire is already being taken with another pin connector, I spliced into that wire and tried both black wires, can you please advise how to fix this?? 2016 WRX

Someone know what size are the screws for install the lights on the mirror base i order some lights but doesn’t come with the screws.

Question for the geniuses over at Subiespeed.....Do you guys know if there is any plans for a blind spot detection/rear cross traffic alert kit for the STi base model and hyper blue series that don't come stock with those features? It appears as if the wiring is already in the car, the icons are already built into the dash, and even has the button cut out ready for the on/off button to be installed. Looks like all you need is the hardware. I hope someone comes up with it soon! I'd buy it.

Hey Guys. Thanks for another helpful video. Hey im wondering....I am going to install both the wide-angle mirrors and the blinker kit at the same time on my 2015 WRX limited. Can I t-tap the mirror's wiring into the new blinker harness inside the mirror, instead of the factory wiring inside the door panel?

Great job! Question.... I have a 03 buick lesabre customthat didn't come with the arrows in mirrors but the limited model did. I bought the factory limited mirror's with the indicator pods in them, just like factory ones for the limited. The company I got them from is kool vue. I spliced into the HEADLAMP turn signal socket but the arrows STAY lit, but when I turn the signal on they flash as they should and when I cancel the signal, they STAY lit. I think this problem has something to do with the daytime running system. I also have a turn signal in the lower frt bumper. Is THAT the one I should splice into so this all should work correctly? Also, I am in a dark garage installing these, I tried going outside in daylight and tried the signals but they didn't light up at all. HELP PLEASE!! I'm pulling my hair out!

Removing the passenger side mirror is near impossible without some ingenious tool usage. Been there done that......
