I wanted to tell y’all, because Tanner said he wanted to try B’s tees sublimation paper, that I had actually bought it and got it just bought it about a week or so before he said that and I wanted to share my experience. The colors are amazing! However, I pressed for the normal time and temp but the ink literally went all the way through my sweatshirt, and through my butchers paper and onto the backside of my sweatshirt ruining it! The colors are so vibrant for my tumblers whenI use it though! So it’s great for tumblers, but I will never use it for my clothing again. The colors are definitely so much more vibrant, but make sure you double or triple up on your paper in between your fabric! It also seems to be thicker paper, so it gets hung up in my printer and causes clots of ink on the edges of my prints too. A-Sub is what I started with and have always used, and will continue to use going forward. I don’t want to have to put that much more effort or extra materials in sublimation if its just going to cost me more time and money!
you can lay parchment paper directly on the print to melt the powder with the heat press and press it all the way down i use paper on top and under the film to protect my press from ink and press , it melts it in seconds the parchment paper peels right off no damage to the ink print than repress film to garment its really great it also seems to make it a smoother print on the shirt for both polyester and cotton .
I line up the edge of the tape with the back edge of the film. I don’t put any of the tape on the films print side. It works great without worry of printing on the tape
I use DTF a lot; love it! Question though... I sublimate canvas tote bags using my sublimation printer, A-sub paper and my heat press on sublimation-ready totes. BUT - I keep ruining them! I'll forget and put the design upside down, or off center, they're faded or they ghost. HOW - if possible - can I get the sublimation ink out of the bags so I can reuse them? I've ruined 12 bags in the last couple of weeks! 😲😲😲 If I can get this ink out of the bags, I can use DTF on them to redo them or re-use them. Thanks!
