Thank you Jennifer for everything you do for us all! Your amazing always hepful and caring, Looking forward too next weekend! Thanks also to your Husband and your wonderful team!!!❤
Yes! Was setting up my Epson ET2800 and the black was missing a couple of spots even after multiple print head cleanings. Was going to do a power cleaning today. GLAD I LISTENED TO THIS!!!!
So many great tips! I'm fairly new to sub but love it and you have taught me so much! I recently purchased an Epson tankless printer to use for subli only. I've made your sock sayings for my grandkids, Phillies & Eagles socks for my adult kids, Spooky tee shirt for my youngest grandbabies, snowman jar and others. You are the "Queen" of design & crafting! I have been following you since 2021 and absolutely turn to your website whenever I craft which is quite often. Thank you Jennifer for all you do!!!❤
Hi Jennifer, Jenn here! Watching replay! I just made a tshirt for me and I've got the "pizza wheel"! I used the DFT hack, and i still got it on my tshirt.
I have 2 ET 2800 and use 1 for sublimation and the other for regular printing. They use so very little ink, it amazes me. I just bought Hippoo ink and its good until 8/20/25. Hope that helps someone on longevity.
I'm so glad to see something about the later blurring of the sublimation on glow in the dark and other htv products! I had that happen to me several years ago, and when I asked about it, no one was saying it was happening to them.
Thank you so much for the information. I bought an epson printer, sublimation ink and paper and haven't used any of it yet. I didn't know sublimation ink expired so that helps. I am having such a time getting siser easy subli or htvront for dark fabrics because it's so expensive but I might have to invest once I start. Thanks.
I love both of my Epson Eco-tank printers. I got the ET-2803 first, new, and put Hippo sublimation ink in it. Then I got a deal on a used Epson SUPER Tank, ST-2000. This is a discontinued model that I use with regular Epson compatible ink. It's GREAT for my print & cut projects or regular iron-on projects with non-sublimation ink!
I looked on your website, but didn't find it, so I'll ask here: Do you happen to have a list of the 27 things not to do? I'd love to watch the video, but I just don't have time. 😞 I tried to scroll through the transcript, too, but wasn't having luck finding the 27 things. If not, it's OK, but it was worth asking! 🙂
Thanks so much for your video on sublimation. I didn't realize the ink has an expiration date and there was something else you tught us in this video that I didn't know but I cannot remember what it was now. I should have written it down but it was early on in the video.
Thank you Jennifer for this great information. I am looking to buy the Epson 15000 printer to have a bigger prints. I have the smaller Epson printer that prints 8.5 X 11. I have learned so much from you. Keep up the great work and have a blessed day and week.
your video is amazing so helpful so clear so detailed how do you tried? And is it possible to sublimate paints onto mugs? I had never heard of sublimation paints before your video, and now I am curious.
@@JenniferMaker thank you for replying if using the pants, would you paint onto sublimation paper and wrap it around the mugs and then put it into the mug press? I am new to this.
I am going to do some unboxing videos in December, and I plan to do it then. I am gathering a collection of new and cool things to unbox LIVE, and then everyone can see how easy or hard they are to set up... and any and all failures. :)
Jennifer I am so anxious to start sublimation. I noticed that you said you have the Epson eco-tank when I looked online there are many different varieties. Could you please tell me which size or model would be the best. As we come closer to the holidays some of these printers will be going on sale so I’m trying to catch a good deal if I can. Thank you so much for all your help. Much love from this way.
Jennifer I just purchased an Epson 8550 and am waiting on my 15000. Which one is best to convert to sublimation. I keep hearing the 8550 is an actual photo printer. What’s your advice for me. Which one should I convert?
Not during the live event, we have no control over that, however in our edited videos - we are able to provide our own captioning. So we have it in the VIP videos. 😊🌻
I purchased the VIP pass and real excited about projects. My big disappointment is I need a sublimation printer. I have done sublimation and taught it but won’t be able to use a printer.
You don't NEED a sublimation printer -- we use it for a small percentage of the projects in Maker Academy Weekend, and almost all of them have Cricut Infusible Ink options. Focus on the Cricut projects instead! :)
I had no idea the ink expired. I just went through having to print purge pages because I don’t sublimate enough. Now I have to wonder if the ink isn’t expired. This has been a great video!
