oh- does it make a difference on which way the keychain is on the heat press? is paper side down best or key chain side down? I only ordered 3 to play with. I don't want to mess them up.
@@rbcreations2 I like to place the paper on top of the keychain so that it gets direct heat from the press. I also tape the paper down to eliminate ghosting. Hope this helps...
Oh my gosh, I’m so glad that you caught that! Those are steps that are assumed and often removed, I have learned that it’s beneficial to keep them in! So glad the video helped. 🥰
Thank you so much for this video I appreciate it the information you provided It was very helpful and I can't wait to get started making my designs for the keychains
Love how professional yours turned out! I purchased sublimation key chains like this and experienced that they chipped super easily. Do you do anything on top of the sublimation to seal it? I’m really struggling trying to find how I can prevent them from chipping. I have orders to fill and I don’t feel it’s right to send out a product that I don’t 100% feel confident about. TIA!
I honestly didn’t have that issue. I do know that often times on Amazon there are items that appear identical, however, they vary in price and quality. I will locate the brand that I purchased if still available and send you the link.
Fortunately, I didn’t experience that and I sorry that you did. I’m reluctant to suggest anything because I feel like epoxy or lamination may impact the overall quality, not to mention adds a ton of time to the process.
This is a great explanation video. Good job. One question: out of curiousity, how much do you sell your keychains for? Thank you in advance. I'm watching this video (and it's a couple of years old), I hope you are still doing your business.
Thank you for putting this up I been doing htv on shirts and hoodies then customizing shoes with leather paint been wanting to do sublimation for a while now finally pulled the trigger on it and this was very helpful got straight to the point let me know exactly what I needed to do and how to do it a real game changer

Bought some sub keychains and when I peel the film off there’s so much residue and stickiness left behind how do I clean that before I sub on it? Thanks
Thank you! I'm new to crafting , I just wanted to ask does that image print on one page single or does multiple images print and you just cut out each square?? I don't want to waste paper 😫 lol
Hi there, you’re gonna love crafting! Yes, you can print multiples and the goal is to fill up the pages since you can reprint on it. Just save your extra prints🥰
Can ask you a question. What did u go on to design ur keychains I make tumblers mugs n t shirts n tote bag and more. I’m new to this boi just launch my new baby out this yr. I’m a lil stunk on witch app work I been using canva n they don’t do. Keychain n pillow case n stuff
thanks i get it now. i'm so use to a vinyl cutter thinking you have to cut the hole out of the picture but it just prints ! no need to cut the hole! thanks for the how to. now in need to learn how to size the photos
Hello! I have these exact same keychains. Was wondering if fabric transfer paper would also work for sublimation keychains & also the wristlets available on Amazon. Thanks so much.
Hi there, I used ASub sublimation paper on these, but I now use HTVRONT sublimation paper because it doesn’t bleed through the paper. Both are great outside of that point.
Hi there, glad you found the video helpful. My suggestion for the image placement would be to create enough space so the image is away from the edges and increase your boarder. Hope that helps
I started making some but people been asking for me to put a picture of their family or just any of a person but when I size it and print the photo itself its blurry on the key chain help please
You have to measure your piece and then allow about a 1/8 border for words and make the design larger if you have a background to ensure full coverage.
Hi there, you will need a printer with sublimation ink and sublimation paper to do any sublimation on key chains, shirts, mugs, etc. I used a heat press and typical time and temp varies based on the sublimation blank and your press, but 400 for 60 is average for a starting point. Hope this helps and please consider subscribing if you have not done so already. Thanks 🥰
