------ Gato - American special premium Tier X submarine. The U.S. Navy High Command conceived that "fleet submarines" were to complement the sluggish conventional battleships. With a high surface speed, heavy armament, and long operational range, they were supposed to conduct reconnaissance and finish off enemy ships once artillery duels between battleships ceased. However, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, their strategy changed, and a new type-Gato-was geared for extended patrols. Comfortable for their crews, these submarines carried a large fuel supply and torpedoes. USS Gato was laid down in October 1940 and commissioned in December 1941. The submarine conducted thirteen combat missions, earning the same number of battle stars and the Presidential Unit Citation.

For God sake use standard torpedoes in Gato for shotgunning.. if u want to use pinged ones, go for Balao with longer ranged ones... standard has 17k alpha each on Gato, way higher than Balao ones 9:32 minutes to understand that.... Nice....

I’m thinking to buy Gato or R.Lauria . To be be effective as sub player I need dumb-fire to have long range and high damage , because it is stupid to bite 90% of ship health and to be unable to finish him properly. As for R. Lauria , I like how tanky R.Lauria can be and how its shells can deal damage, instead of missing target.

Very aggressive, but also very rewarding play. I suppose 99 from 100 players would have died at some point. 👍 The insult change nothing. So that's useless too...

Faster, shorter armed distance, and for Gato still have enough damage to sunk low hp bb / cruisers

So many misplays and still a great game, thats submarines/Gato for you. Also, there is no excuse or fairness when it comes to submarines, they are complete BS, and im one of those playing them. But since WG will keep them in and ruin the game I rather be one of the abusers than one of the abused. As many already pointed out, why waste half the game trying to get into meeh 6 km homing torps when Gato´s carrying long range nukes. 6 torps into that Conq leaving A cap instead of just 3 would have killed him, instead of shooting 3 to Izumo which would quite clearly miss. All the time he capped A cap he could have spammed 16 km nukes into enemy blob of ships ... but didn't.

Какой же слабый чел. 1. Купил Гато, чтобы играть как на Балао 2. Вообще не чувствует движение кораблей, пуски торпед супер кривые. 3. Открывает рот на команду, хотя сам та еще раковина Из плюсов: ну сонаром вроде неплохо стреляет (на Гато, лол). Я бы даже не писал этот коммент, если бы чел не был ЧСВ клоунярой.
