Woah, not only did you make the base efficient with all the necessities, but you managed to really make the base feel like a home with your decoration and placement. Managing to somehow pack all of that into the small form factor of the Cyclops is impressive. 5 stars, I wish Subnautica was multiplayer because I would love to live in this!
Glad you liked it :) I really hope the devs add multiplayer to subnautica 3 for much the same reason - massive multiplayer bases and submarines would just be so cool!
@@Sharded_Oh, a big big disadvantage of Nitrox is thatvyou can only use it on pc. As someone thatcplays on a console using nitrox is impossible. I wouldn't cry if I piratated subnautica on pc, cause I did get it legit on ps4, but it's a headache, plus aparantly nitrox will play a funny pirate video if you try to use piratated subnautica
@@Breathtaker5000pretty much the only time I used the cyclops was to get my nickel and crystalline from the lost river. Used the prawn suit more than the cyclops in that trip.
Can see that you have an eye for interior decor. Most people ignore plants because it's hard to really put them into a base and make it look good, but you actually managed to make the plants add to the base and give it a more lively atmosphere. Not only that, but you really did fill all of the empty space so that it feels more lively inside of the otherwise very open Cyclops. This is constricting in a good way. 10/10 design and actively inspiring.
When I first realized I can builf inside the Cyclops I did something just like that haha. A fully sufficient base with lockers, posters, farms, coffee, beds, plants and all. Altough there was a downside to it, I had to turn off the engine each time I saw a sea dragon because I was paranoid of losing my safe and lovely home 😂
This is a 10/10 cyclops, one thing that bugged me however was that there were only 2 beds, and the title says 6 person? I’m just wondering how the others sleep. I’m guessing shifts, but idk. Please let me know.
Is it really safe to build a base in the cyclops? After all my locks where was full with items disappeared I never did trust again to build that much, it’s a bug but if I know there is always a little chance that this will disappear Im not motivated to build inside
If you use wall lockers they shouldn't disappear, the floor lockers do though. I lost a lot of stuff from the same bug literally yesterday. It's something to do with the game running a check on the surface the player is standing on, and then it bugs out and poof, the lockers sink to the bottom of the map. Like, the bottom bottom. Past any terrain, falling in the infinite void.
Not sure how I feel about plants around a highly flammable engine area but other than that it looks amazing! The little table set made me think of Normandy crew deck floor.
@@Synthia17 It takes 20 seconds before fire becomes possible, and every 2 seconds the game basically rolls a dice. I think every 2 seconds after the first 20 seconds is up, has a 20% chance of a fire starting.
@@partiallyfrozen3425 I don’t think a pillow would stay too warm in this scenario going by how we are deep under the sea and it’s naturally very cold down there.
They make great bases but are not infinitely sustainable. Charging a power cell on the Cyclops will also drain a power cell so you still need a real base with a real power source to sustain the power needs of the Cyclops. If the Cyclops could equip a nuclear reactor....well that'd be true god mode with the shield up 24-7 lol.
Awesome job mate ! Below zero is fun but not the same without a bad ass looking sub. I hope the creators see this and make a better version of it in subnatica 3 😁
If this was a real submarine with a crew, here is what I would think it would be made up with! 1. Captain 2. Second officer 3. Researcher 4. Navigator 5. Engineer 6. Miner
An unnoticed structural defect from a previous incident eventually caused damage to the navigation systems, causing the captain to drive straight into a group of reaper leviathans
Really need a multiplayer storyline of subnautica it would justify the cyclone being in the game since why add the big vehicle if meant to be managed by more
I think you after get the cyclops and you say nah fuck this base i have cyclops but no lie this submarine is awosome and 1 more think that bang at the start ;)
when I was first playing subnautica I was scared of the void and then the egg hatched in my base and was a warper at the moment I was sleeping inside my cyclops my cyclops was now at the void and I only had a prawn suit so deleted that save file
