I'm on my first play through and never listened to my radio messages for the first ten hours of gameplay, I had no idea it progressed the story lol Anyways, I had all three vehicles and a ton of upgrades before I even knew the sunbeam was a thing 😂

I didnt even get the seamoth at the time of sunbeam being destroyed

Yeah i always get super creeped out whenever I leave the safeshallows which is why I suck at the game because im not good at exploring. I didnt even go to meet the sunbeam

Everyone says it's not as good as subnautica but if u put that aside, its enjoyable, and I was surprised. Story seems longer and things seem harder to achieve.

honestly there's things I like more and less about below zero.. preferred the silent protagonist approach of the first preferred ALAN in the 2nd one the pda being your only real companion preferred the seamoth and cyclops over the seatruck.. though the sea truck has some cool features the graphics are better in below zero though the new update made the first one look a lot better and closer to the sequel. The map was bigger and deeper in the first though the diversity in the second was good didn't care much for the land exploration/freezing but did appreciate them trying something new.. would have been better to keep it mostly water based. Loved learning the history and reason behind the virus and the aliens behind it all. All in all, the first was a better overall experience but a lot of that was from it being the first to do it. The sequel is still a great game but best to appreciate it for what it is and enjoy all the extra dialogue and story in the 2nd

They originally had some of the grown Emperors in Below Zero, but these were dropped in later development.

2nd or 3rd lifepod message has one but the grassy plateau (where the sand sharks are) is the easiest place to find seamoth parts.. if you have a repair tool in the aurora you can get 2 of the 3 fragments in the seamoth room as well

Since release i was hoping there would be multiplayer option. Or if you're playing with 3 or 4 people that there's another lifepod that also drops nearby. I just wanna go reaper hunting with my buddies lmao

@@radn_same but with my cousin. That’s the only thing that’s disappointing about this game. It’s literally a good game for multiplayer.. literally Minecraft, ark, etc. why not this game? 🤦🏻‍♂️

I haven't gotten the sunbeam yet due to me just flat out ignoring the radio messages, got the prawn suit after but I used the cyclops funds I put in a separate locker to make it since I still need 2 engine parts but luckily I have enough lithium for days due to the big mushroom forest tree

@@NorthernBob UPDATE: I encountered a game breeaking bug at the sea emperor, she stuck in a sitting position and wont move. i created the enzyme hatched the eggs and no matter how long i wait she is just frozen in place and won't cure me i'm very upset becouse if i load in my save she is still frozen in place and i cant finish my game with 72 hours of work in that save file with my base, wich has an entire locker of every material my cyclops wich is now equal as a complete portable base my fully upgraded prawn suit and seamoth. Ah its so emberassing. guess i have to wait for a patch or something.

Now’s the best time to play it

if you made it that far you can beat it in less than an hour, especially if you have the drill arm for the prawn suit.. just need to hoarde all the kyanite and nickel you can while you're down there. Grab the blue tablet like in this video make it, down to the emperor, collect the plant samples (one of the hardest parts if you don't know where to find the plants) then building the rocket isn't too bad if you corrected a lot of the deep resources so you don't have to go back and forth to the lava zone
