The best way to tease a Reaper is with the shock pulse. I once lured one all the way to the shallows to get it stuck on a coral tube for the rest of my playthrough.
reapers are the scarriest enemy in all of gaming, you can hear it from hundreds of meters away but not see if until u get really close, it has a really chilling roar and it can approach you from all 3 dimensions so u never know where to look.
Below zero was great but nothing was as terrifying as the reaper in the original, that bastard would go stealth mode and sneak up on you when you least expected
Just hearing Reaper gave gamers the message, “I shouldn’t be here.” Even when I have a repair tool, medkits, and some fish to serve as bait I still get on edge hearing that roar.
I was terrified of them until I crafted my first prawn suit and suddenly the god complex kicked in and before I knew I had killed two and was fully prepared to kill more then I encountered the glitch where the prawn suit falls through the map forever and dies to crush damage leaving you to drown
You'd think someone with space faring technology knew how to put together something that goes BOOM. Rules and regulation aside, you're stranded on an alien planet and the local fauna wants to kill you, easy call. Any human would craft a weapon.
@@BulborbStan then they could've made like flash torpedoes that produce a hell lotta sound and light to just scare away everything, including leviathans. But make them expensive to make so that players don't just abuse them.
They’re even more useless because you can’t tell if they are doing damage, and the Reaper will keep swimming away, so at most they give two seconds of damage to a creature with 5000 health that won’t stop gliding through the water. Now, if they had a Stasis torpedo and you could variate them with Gas torpedos, they might be more effective.
Yep...the vortex torpedoes are garbage. I'm not really sure what they were thinking but all they even needed to do was make it where it did the fully charged stasis rifle effect and increased the duration to X2. Then torpedoes would have gotten some viability and use in more games played.
