Kinda debating showing my collection now. I've literally bought about 2k worth of fragrances the past 4 months and currently looking for more. Then I wonder where all my money went. I blame everyone here except me 😅. It's a very expensive addiction.
Same lol I started about 10 years ago collecting fragrances. It got bad for a while. So bad my wife had to limit me to just one per month. Then 1 every other month. Lol
Actually, I tried a few of those Verset clones (they were free, used them as bathroom air fresheners afterwards, don't judge), and I found them smelling really close to the originals that I own (Bvlgari Man in Black, Bvlgari Aqva, Le Male, Terre d'Hermes...). I am quite surprised I don't heat about that clone house more often. (I guess they may be specific to Europe.)
Not true at all actually. Keep them out of sunlight and humidity they’ll last forever. In some fragrances, the top notes might blend into the rest. Some fragrances get stronger over time
I am fairly new into fragrances and I've built a 17 piece collection in the last 6 months (Not including a gazillion sample decants). I do think I grew it a little quicker than I should have but I did put a lot of research or testing at stores before every purchase. The 17 bottles cover every season and occasion so I am pretty sure I won't need to buy another fragrance for at least 3 years minimum - though fighting the temptation to add more fragrances to my collection is a daily struggle! Most importantly though, I store all my fragrances in their boxes in my closet. I'd like to keep them fresh for as long as possible - in a dark and cool environment. I don't mind the extra hassle of going into my closet and into the boxes every time I wear a fragrance.
I have 17 as well which I collected over the course of 4 years. I told my wife that I wouldn't buy another fragrance this year because it is becoming an addiction. So I stay away from perfume shops unless I am buying a gift for someone. My goal is to eventually reduce my fragrances to 10. I want to put the time, energy, and money into other aspects of my life.
Growing up I LOVED O.P blend. It is discontinued and now goes for about $120 a bottle. I don't mind spending $120 for something that I love. But I was wondering if there's anything else out there that is close to it? Don't even know if you know OP blend.
Scentbird isn't too bad if you use them correctly I use them for scents I almost certainly would not purchase normally. I've even compared them with just getting 10ml samples from other vendors and it's cheaper by around $10 to use Scentbird. If a bottle of a frag is $150+, an easy way to try it out and try things I wouldn't usually then using Scetbird has worked out so far. Just avoid using them for common designer scents and paying $10+ for 8ml of a frag that costs less than a benji for a real bottle.
Debating on submitting my collection but it may be abit too small still since I really only started about a year ago. Maybe next video or the next after lol.
TOUGH CALL! ... .and Sauvage E & Ultra Male is an excellent choice... But I think I'd go with: ADG Profumo & TM AMEN! BTW, Any idea why I've suddenly got this powerfully odd desire to soak & scape labels off of bottles?!
