But the Prof still wasn't aware that in Sept this yr Min of state for petroleum in his press release said we a4e consuming 68milion littes

Subsidies are the taxes of the taxpayer. The IMF will always tell developing nations to remove subsidies. This then leads to the people and industries becoming victims of the society and economy.. All the idiots calling themselves Nigerian economic professors knows nothing about how countries work . Education is subsidized in order to build the nation. Road building is subdized. Industry is subsidized because of the effect on the quality of life. The IMF has always recommending removing anything to build the nation. The loans are used for frivolous things and one half goes missing. The IMF have no issues with those things.
