Really prefer the individual blu covers. Wish they had included them as a reversible option. Silly to care that much about covers, but it’s probably the main thing holding me back on this set 🤷🏻‍♂️

BLOODSTONE is my favorite of the series. Things just feel like they really come together with that entry. BLOOLUST always seems to come up a little short with "Final Battle" promised.

Never thought I’d see a box set for Subspecies. I love the first two films. Brings me back to the old VHS days. I own the original on VHS. I may have to shell out some cash for this set. Awesome video, thank you!

Just got mine in today too. i ordered the bundle with the bloodstone replica. Great Quality build on both the idems. i also like that the bloodstone came with a certificate not only signed by Charles Band But Ted Nicolaou.

I pray they release the 4th film separately. I really don't want to have to buy this as I already own the others. I also don't really like the artwork on the cases. Still a cool set nonetheless. If it looks as bad as you say, I'll probably grab the dvd as well. Its on Full Moons website still i believe

Awesome looking set. That’s unfortunate about Subspecies 4, I have the old unaltered uncut DVD(newer dvd editions cut some bits out) and it looks good especially if you watch it on a CRT TV. I would’ve jumped on that set if the first film was in 4k. And I’m guessing the first film is the same scan as their old blu ray, which is not good at all quite frankly, it’s only 1080i and is DNR’d, and you can see macro blocking especially in dark scenes(like the beginning). The best edition of that film is the 88 films release it’s 1080p, full grain intact and no macro blocking, it’s fantastic, I highly recommend that edition for Subspecies 1. I also have the 88films edition of part 2 & 3, it’s slight improvement over full moons.

Got mine in yesterday, it looks so beautiful! Can’t wait to get into it, not the biggest fan of Subspecies but they’re still very entertaining. Unfortunately I don’t know when I’ll be able to watch them cause I recently bought over $2,000 worth of movies and tv shows and I work a lot so I’m slowly going through it. Watched Eyes Without a Face last night, would love to see you talk about old black and white horror films sometime soon
