also if you notice he's using his eyebrows to signal attacks, he's not bowing for respect, it's to catch Little Mac off guard, so that punch is 200% justified

I remember trying to find reactions for this video and when I searched it up I was like "bro its a translation video no one's going to react to this." Then you proved me wrong.
Lets talk about Great Tiger. First, some are very literal translations which you dont really hear Americans say. Also, they would leave out words that usually Americans would use. Now this line "I will destroy you with my strength". I dont think I ever heard anyone ever say that in movies or shows, not even in Dragonball Z. Instead, it would more than likely be "I will crush you with my power". "My power is too great". "You stand no chance against me (or "my might") Or any of the other many things a character could say regarding their strength except for what Great Tiger said. "You're just a little kid. You can't fight a tiger!". Usually in shows or movies, you would add more to it than just that. For example, "You're just a little kid. You can't possibly fight a tiger!". See the difference? It also sets the stage to keep the audience's attention. Probably a very literal translation the video used. "and then I beat him up." "Time to get back to work". Usually you would say something before "time". For example, "alright, time to get back to work". "alright guys", "alright people" , alright folks"...and so on. "Missed". In English, you usually say the pronoun. So it would be "I missed". A lot of foreign languages leave out the pronoun but not in English. "Ah, betrayed!" First, when would that ever come to your mind in a middle of a boxing match? "darn it", "darn" , "dang" etc... would be the first words usually. Secondly, once again some words are left out for a more "correct" way of speaking the language. "Ah, I got betrayed!" or "Ah, I felt betrayed!" or "Ah, I was betrayed!" but based on the context and how he said "ah" I doubt it would be used like that. "I screwed up". That is the correct way of speaking English. Not sure why "short hand" was used with other quotes. same with "I can't get up" "Is your memory any good". Again, most won't say it like that. It would be like "how is your memory". "Lets see how good your memory is" "eat my dust" usually you would say the person's name at the end of that sentence Now I see why when some people translate songs into English from any language they would change words or add words to to spruce it up so it sounds better. Alright so thats that. Now I wonder how much of an idiot I made of myself lol.

I find it interesting to not that Piston Hondo when counting uses Shi(し) for 4 instead of the more commonly used Yon(よん), Shi(し) isn't commonly used because it's synonymous with Shi(死) which means death.

Like all most in earlier SMG4 that weren’t straight text to speech or Boobkins Saiko talks in voice clips Ala Fire Emblem Fates/Awakening (there are probably… higher quality examples… but it’s just what comes to mind) if what I’ve read is correct Saiko’s quotes specifically come from Cia/Lana from Hyrule Warriors?

I know what you mean, but in canon, glass joe won against nick bruiser, the final boxer in super punch out and the world champion of the game. Glass joe won against him due to a freak accident, we don't know what that freak accident was, but glass joe won from that
Best theory being that Nick saw who he was fighting and laughed himself into a coma before even getting in the ring. Joe was already there, so technically he did win, but since Nick hadn't gotten into the ring, it didnt count against him
