Which look is your favorite? Personally, I wear the Ravenclaw look all the time, I love it. I think I could have done better with Gryffindor, which is a shame cause it’s my actual house lol. Next time I’ll do it justice.
I love that you chose a lighter sage green for Slytherin ☺️ most people do the edgy Slytherin look but I really like the take on a more academia inspired outfit 📜🖋️
Yes! And really, Slytherin is not as edgy as they try to make them. They are old money, prestige family and social elite usually. They like social rules, status and elegance. They would not go for the edgy. They read more like academic, preppy, classy, quiet luxury style of people. A a fellow Slytherin, I truly believe in this theory.
@@LadyOndynewhile I agree and think this is quite canonically accurate, I think there is also another subsection of slytherin that is ambitious new money kids, those who dream big, children of immigrants and of lower classes that will stop at nothing to achieve their dreams, make a name for themselves and honour their families !

It’s been a while …but, aah how time stands still when you’re in focus. It’s such a lovely trance viewing such a lovely dance. It’s hard to choose a favorite look when you’re in all of them, but I’ll try… Hufflepuff is my favorite out of the four; the colors compliment you well. Coincidentally, my favorite soap from the Dr. Squatch Harry Potter collection is Hufflepuff. Next preferred would be Slytherin (actually, tied for 1st), Gryffindor, then Ravenclaw. In all honesty, all these looks would fail miserably if worn by anyone other than you.
I wasn't gonna cause i thought: oh it's not long enough, 4 outfits isn't enough, i'll have to film more. which is why i didn't post it when i filmed it. but eventually i realized 3-4 minute video is a very normal length for youtube. and 4 looks is enough as well. so here we are!
i love just how wearable these are ! like, obviously within the context they are definitely hogwarts house inspired but i truly wouldn't blink an eye if i saw any of these out in the wild except to think that they're cute.
Just seeing this- not sure how I missed it. I’m Ravenclaw, but haven’t assembled any outfits since “She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named” showed up as a TERF. Since then, I’ve been quietly trying to find a way of incorporating my love of Harry Potter fiction into real world scenarios that are inclusive. The outfits you put together are lovely. It’s a good reminder that we can still love things that are beautiful, despite a creator’s faults/ failures.

I’ve been marathoning the “slow stitching” videos. I think it’s going to be my hobby for 2024 and I hope I’ve got a young granddaughter roped into doing some projects with me. I’d love to teach her to sew and embroider and spend those kind of hours with her. I especially loved the Slytherin green and the Hufflepuff mustard. I thought, “Ahh, here is how those Hogwarts girls would look as they grow up and get sophisticated!!” 😂🤎

thank you for what you wrote in your description about trans people. it may have been just a sentence, but it means so much to me. it's sad because HP was such a big part of my life for so many years, but it turned from something that gave me so much joy to something that just hurts now because of JKR. when I saw the title of the video, instead of joy, I felt scared, just like any time I see anything HP related now, and then I feel sad because of it. I clicked on the video and the description with a mix of fear and hope. I'm glad that my hopes were right, but still sad that the fear was there. so again, thank you for keeping this a safe space. thank you for making a piece of HP related content that brought me joy about it again, even if it was bittersweet. (also, the outfits were lovely. it was such a pleasant surprise to see you in my subscriptions again)
sorry jk had to open her dumb mouth and ruin something you once enjoyed. maybe you could find some joy in the marauders fandom? it exists as part of the HP universe but it's almost entirely by the fans, for the fans. majority of the content in the fandom is trans and lgbt. xx
