I remembered subtracting unlike fractions in high school but forgot how to do regrouping. You just helped me tremendously. You explained it so well and in a short period of time. I got it. You are making this more complicated than it needs to be. Convert both from mixed to full fraction, convert one (or both) to lowest common denominator, subtract.

Thank you for these videos 🎉 also, this is probably a dumb question, the first problem you have is 8 and 7 over 6. My thought is that it's an improper fraction and I would then get stuck trying to fix it. So theirs no need to fix that improper fraction then? Thanks again ! I've already completed all other subjects for GED and math is my last one.
