Mr J you must be a teacher, I must admit I hate HATE math and was never open to learning it especially what you're teaching in this video. But the way you teach makes me receptive and I understand.
Thank you so much... Helped a lot... Please make more videos as I have some doubts which remain uncleared and in your channel there is no video regarding it... And in other videos, they don't explain properly 😎
Your the best at this. You know, since the start of my school day, I use to advance study. And, I use your vds for advance learning in MATH. And I sent this comment to Thank You for your teaches to those who watched your video the most. So whoever is reading my comment, please like, subscribe, comment, and share this video to anyone you know.(I'm just helping Mr. J😊) But anyways. Thanks For showing your vds out in the public/wild😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Mr. J! Can you please make a video like this, but they have a common denominater? One of my problems is 6 and 1/5 minus 2 and 3/5 but you can't subtract 3 from 1 so you would have to regroup. Thank you! It would mean sm to me.
Re the subtraction of fractions, I usually like your educational videos, . I am very adept at fractions but I go through various videos looking for information my grandson can understand. But this video is horrendous!! Long winded and extremely confusing. It would have been a lot easier to convert to improper fractions, find the LCM, and just do the subtraction. It's not a video I would recommend to any child who is trying to master subtraction.
Awesome feedback! Thank you for taking the time to write that comment. I appreciate it. Yes, I definitely agree, borrowing with mixed numbers can be confusing (it's probably one of the more confusing topics when it comes to fractions and many would agree with you). In my experience, I have found that some people prefer borrowing and some prefer converting to improper fractions (I like/use both myself). I like to give people instruction on both strategies and they can take it from there as far as what they prefer. It all comes down to personal preference and what works for you. Honestly, a lot of people would agree with you, they do not like this strategy. And that's okay, I understand. I wanted to at least provide a video for anyone out there that needed a little extra help with the borrowing strategy. Thank you again for taking the time to write a comment and I hope you find other videos to be more helpful moving forward. Have a great rest of your day!
