It's still hot, and it hasn't rained since July. Pretty much normal for this time of year. How's it going up there? I see you've been busy with videos the last week...trying to get caught up.

Pardon an ignorant question, but- do y'all get fall colors in New Orleans? Or is it more or less green all year 'round?

Not like they do up north. The leaves turn brown and drop to the ground, usually in a very short period of time. It’s like the trees suddenly say, oh no! It’s the middle of December. Gotta drop the leaves.

Great question actually! Sadly no, it's not that type of place. Most tress here are evergreens and the ones that aren't are dead looking all winter. I'm not sure of anywhere that has an abundance of fall scenery with a 4 hour drive of New Orleans. You really need to be in nothern Alabama, Tennessee or Georgia to see anything like that.

Yep. And our banana trees didn’t even die last year. Temp never got below freezing.

@@midnightmystery544 In Memphis here. About month before the colors start changing here. I was watching a youtube trucker yesterday, near the Canadian border. It was already colorful there.
